We camped next to a stream in Pagosa Springs this past week and a painter was camping next to us. One morning he was sitting next to the stream looking our way and painting. He spent two mornings working on a painting of our
1959 Tradewind (see attached).
He was a really cool guy. His name is Pat Rawlings and he made a career out of painting both with brushes and later digitally with pixels. It sounded like he painted lots of neat things for NASA and other projects for Disney, IMAX, and Encyclopedia Britannica.
I took a photo of the painting (he wouldn’t sell it to me) and thought I would share it.
