Really cool, but I think those that don't have a fast Internet connection might not be able to enjoy it as quickly!

Part of me thinks it's a totally cool thing Ralph Lauren is doing, but there is also a part of me that feels like...

Hey, do we need to commercialize everything? I mean they even had the caravan sticker on the thing.

Of course, then there are more people to hang with at meets and stuff that I might not have had the pleasure of meeting, but still, I have mixed feelings about what Ralph or any other "designer" (clothes in particular) would do making this thing I very much respect into some LL Bean, Eddie Bauer (like the Ford) kind of stuff.

I mean, it does bring more folks into this thing of ours...maybe I'm just being primal and peeing around the territory......

Anyway, I'm mixed on the concept (but the A/S are really neat).

To theme or not to theme !

I agree totally with your comments about commercializing everything. Seems that there's more and more of that happening too.

My '55 Overlander remains in it's classic condition. I've thought about picking a theme like Ralph has done with the Airstreams he's spruced up, but then again I really like the 50's look my Overlander was born with. I continue to modernize mine but I've yet to do a theme.

It would be interesting to see how others feel about customizing Vintage Airstreams with a theme.

The "POLO" look is pretty cool, but $150,000??? Yikes.
