Clayton's new home

A few weeks ago, maybe months ago (maybe years - I'm losing track of time), I posted some information and a few photos about a new building project I'm doing. The story begins here, if you are interested (and I can think of no reason why you should be): http://www.airforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=13528

Today we got Clayton moved into her new home. It's a long way from being finished, but she has water, sewer, and her very own 30 amp RV outlet. And she is under a roof; for the first time since we have owned her I have no fear of hail.

Oh, the splotches of paint are where we are cutting in around light fixtures and such. The building is only partially trimmed out at this date.

The shed (and building) is 40' long; possibly overkill as Airstream only makes 'em to 34'. Not that we want to trade.

With a permanent storage space, one can begin to think about those luxury extras that make life so much more enjoyable. Note the front porch next to the steps.

Wow! I don't see how it could get any better than that! Will you use the trailer for an "apartment" for visitors?

Great Job!

Wow, I dream of the day we can have a setup like that. We started looking into it, but the threat of permits and inspections made us go with temporary housing. Good work!
