Wink Check Lists

Hi fellow AS lovers,

as many here we're newbies and don't have much experience with certain AS fundamentals.

We understand and share the importance of a GOOD CHECK LIST, both pre-trip and post.

Anyone here care to share their check lists?

thanks, cheers

Here's mine so far - we think of something else to add after every trip (and we've only had six or so trips).

Windows Closed
Fridge off
Heater off
Water heater off - Secure door on water heater
Dump black water - add two gallons clean back into tank
cap dump tank
Rinse stinky-slinky and replace in storage

fill water tank and cap it
return water hose to trailer

Unplug trailer
Cap electrical outlet under trailer

Vent Closed
Loose items secured?
Water Pump OFF
Step UP
Front window guard latched
Propane OFF
Propane tanks secure

Examine hitch-head for wear, cracks in bolts or ball, bolts and ball tight
Securely pin hitch in truck receiver
put plastic sheet on ball (or grease ball, whatever you do)
latch trailer onto ball, lock
Crank jack all the way up - Put jack foot in trailer
Remove stabilizer jacks
remove wheel chocks

hook up safety chains
hook up break-away switch wire
install wd bars
put chain tool in trailer

install sway control
(1 full turn past where you can't move it by hand)

Plug in trailer wiring to truck
test right, left, brake, and running lights

Can't wait to see other people's lists...
