If someone does go and check out this trailer for parts, please send me a PM. I need some of the small parts. Be glad to pay you for your time and trouble.

But I too was thinking of purchasing it. I asked the seller for pics - apparently it's on land they got from a will of some sort - no title available. I really like those '59's with the fenders - but again, that $100.00 goes up faaasssstt! It would be a shame to cut it up though.

Wow! I LIVE in San Luis Obispo. Although I really don't need one more project, this one is tempting. Maybe I'll take a look at it this weekend and let you folks know what I find.

I'd buy it in a second if it was closer. It looks like a 59 and 59's have some parts unique to that year.
If the front and rear windows are the size I need I will pay $100 for them plus shipping. That skin would fetch a couple hundred in scrap. The endcaps would sell quick.
If it was within 200 miles of me I would be on the way and that thing would quickly become a car trailer after I salvaged some of the parts I need for our 59.

I tried to contact the seller and have not had a reply in 24 hrs.
I would part it out and everyone wins.

I sent him an email too and have yet to hear anything back. It's been two days. Possibly it has been sold or he is out of town. Too bad because I've started a list of wanted parts.

Line of work!?
Almost sounds like I lucrative line of work for someone with the property, a few $'s and organizational and internet skills....
Anyone?!
I myself have a whole list of things ( little ) that I need for the '92 and they aren't worth anyone's time in the 'real world' - that DOESN'T mean there isn't $'s to be made, perhaps SERIOUS money.
Looked ALL OVER for 2 stabilizer jack 'feet' - one of mine which went MIA somewhere out on the highways. WENT EVERYWHERE LOCAL and found nothing close. Wound up getting a local welding shop to 'make' 2 for about $60. Would've liked the real deal.
Anyone?
Just a thought.

I have sold a few things on Craigslist and when you use the anonymous post it almost always ends up in the junk mail folder. I bet thats the case here and they haven't looked.

I finally heard back from the owner. Said trailer was on the property when he acquired the estate. Just wants it gone. I believe a forums member is going to take a look at it in the near future. Will let you know.
