When you click on the chat link you need to be paitent. It takes a while to load

had the same problem with Netscape. Had to IE.

If you are using netscape, try IE. Netscape sometimes will not let people in. i don't know why.

Java enabled?
Not sure but..
Doesn't this 'chat room' require that you have java enabled on your browser??
I've had no problems with either one on other chat sites but..I don't recall if I've checked this one out with Netscape yet or not.
I also went to Sun's website and, downloaded their Java enable program.. If anyone wants it, let me know and, when I get home I'll look up the link to the website..

I'm on Mac with I.E. and DSL and it worked like a charm first time for me.

Likewise, the chat room works with both browsers.. - Netscape version: Netscape 7.1
IE version: IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2
As a matter of fact, I was able to switch between the two and be fully signed into the room in less than 2 min time..

The chat room is based on Java technology. Many windows computers do not have Java installed. I will look into finding a test site and some good instructions on how to install it (it is easy, just a simple download from Sun).
Look here for an update...

That's so true..
I belong to the "Inner Circle" on Sun board..Got started with them many years ago when I was learning about Java..
The link is simple: Java Sun
On this link, one would go to get it for free download and, install it..It's so simple, it's almost automatic..
btw, you may be required to register..?? I don't remember as I've always sign in as a "register" member..

Hmmm. This is the same computer I have always used to sign into the chat. Never had a problem before. I went to the chat room the window would load but where you sign in was blank and the modem would go to idle and no more data.
I would go back to the fourm home page or out to another site and back and still no luck. Once I posted and got a response I knew it was me and not the chat fourm. I shut down my ISP connection and then loged back in. Went to chat fourm and went right in no problem !!!!

I have noticed that if I click on the link in the "Forums" page, it doesn't work properly. When I click on the link on the "Home" page it works fine...hmmm ~ maybe the "Forums" link is broken...
