chat night a disappointment!!!!

As a relative newbie, I have gained some very good and some not so good information from this forum. I took the time to join the chat for "chat night" last night thinking it would be a good source for some interactive information relative to Airstreaming and maybe some insight from experienced Airstreamers. Not so! I stayed for 10 minutes, and I never saw any comment realtive to Airstreaming. I think it would be good to have a chat specifically for information rather than just another place to gab!!!

What Norby said. Next week, try again and fire away with any question you have. There's a lot of us that like to show off in the chat sessions And every once in a while, we give legit advice.

I was one of the jokers tra-la-la'ing away last night on frivolous topics.
Chat is like anything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it.
Since the chat room is open 24/7, I for one will watch for tslanier to announce a chat session revolving around the topic of his choosing.

I don't think I've EVER seen anyone discuss Airstreams in chat! But that doesn't mean you can't call for one of your own! The room is always open

I got the boot last nite also, tried to get back on but kept getting some line about database error. Guess that happens from time to time. ALL you need to do is ASK a guestion and you will get replies. This is a way to loosen up and get to know others on the forum, hang in there. So tislanier get your questions together, I'll be looking for you tues nite. Our trailers are close to same same. Tim

Chat night is like sitting around a campfire, topics are generally open and varied. Ask Airstream questions if that is what you want to ask and you will get responses. Another thing too about chat is that it is like being at a party and there are several conversations going on at once. Only difference is you can "hear" all of them. It can be confusing until you get the hang of it.

Thanks for the guidance. I am still in the frustration period of trying to figure so many things out.

tslanier, We understand. Chat night you ask the question Airstream or? And the Forum you ask your Airstream question and you will receive many answers. We bought our Airstream in July and everyone at the Forum gave us answers to our questions and were helpful. It is fun and more fun. Understand when you are NEW....you want to fix and go. Ask your questions
help is on the way. ENJOY
