CCD Design Video

Dwell Blog is doing a series on designers, and this video is an interview with CCD himslef, discussing how he came to design AS and the new DWR trailer. Very cool!

good find stef...

i'd love to see some of the stuff he's done that didn't make it to production.

the updated version of the ccds is hot right now,

signature series? i think it's called.

these design folks are interesting.

no doubt they 'learn' from each others ideas and products...

53flyingcloud posted this link a long time ago...

looks like this brit was doing 'ccd' like interiors in 1996...

oh and here is a link to some of the still images in the deam interview...

from '01 wilson art design piece. more good stuff

Neat video, nice to see CD "in person" Also nice designs in your links 2Air. I wonder if David Winick every went as far as to make designs for a larger Airstream. Anyone have any links for knock out renovation interiors or perhaps some favorites? I can't get enough visuals of this kind. I am always searching for pictures. I love browsing the ideas. Hand me a picture book and I can study it for hours.

Nice story. You can see and read more about his work in the latest issue of Airstream Life. I hope that Chris' collaboration with Airstream continues.

Very cool....too bad his CCD was lifted.....wasn't that the prototype?
