Cars a reminder why we love this
If you get a chance go see the new Pixar movie CARS. Remind your self why we love trailers with character and the back roads and small towns that make the better. We all need to be reminded to slow down and enjoy the ride not just the destination!!!

Cars!
I took my children to see this movie just yesterday and had the same reaction as you. I was all prepared to sit back and snooze through what I thought would be a boring children's movie created to make money from product placement, or promote NASCAR or some other thing. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very sweet tale with fun and entertaining characters and a nice message.

Ok, BUT...
If "Cars" reminds why we love, what purpose does "RV- Runaway Vacation" serve?

While I haven't seen the Movie RV, I can only imagine it reminds us why we don't own SOB's. Lol

FWIW, the movie RV had Airstreams in it. It wasn't focused on any certain brand.
After switching to a SOB a little over a year ago, I'm just as happy as when I had the Airstream. Actually, there are things about the Airstream I don't miss at all. I like this forum, I think it's still a good place to learn and share a lot of information.

I really enjoyed RV too. It wasn't a work of art, but it was funny just like I expected it would be - we saw it in an empty theater, and we were laughing our *** off. And I loved that red vintage converted bus the other family drove! Anyone know what that was? That thing was awesome!
Sounds like I'm going to have to go see Cars, I was also afraid it was just drivel (and I'm not a huge fan of Owen Wilson).

Here is your very own for just 15K.

They usually had GM gas engines. I have a bunch of the vents and turn signal lights from them- they're really streamlined and I'll use them on something. If you find one in a junk yard, go grab all the interior lights for use in a vintage trailer- they're aluminum aircraft lights that swivel, and look incredible!
Better finish your 'Stang- this baby will take up all your time and garage space

Silvertwinky I did not mean to offend. I have owned both SOB and Airstreams and we even have a Spartan Royal Mansion we are working on. Like I said I have not seen the movie but the previews don't paint a pretty picture. Have a great day!!!!!!

After owning a full-size lifted truck, I have sworn to never again own anything too heavy or tall for me to jack up with my 4k# floor jack - I think that bus may exceed my limit Cool find though!

Not a problem! I do still look for Airstreams when were out on the road, just like when I owned one. Don't mistake me either, I still like them, they really do kind of grow on you!
