Wonder what the insurance company decided? Total loss?

Here, for your viewing ease, I captured a couple of the pics... eBay is soooo slow.

I wonder if the transport vehicle's running gear was balanced? ;-)

As you can see I'm still looking. This damage is clearly the result of too much trailer and not enough truck and hitch! LOL

I'd think the most I'd pay for that would be about $2,000, primarily for the water heater, furnace, maybe air-conditioner, and other parts. If I had a place out in the country, I might even keep the body and chassis for spare parts for anyone needing rear body panels down the road, but otherwise would sell it as scrap metal.

Reserve met at $4,999.99!

How exciting, just a few simple repairs @$10/hr and on the road you go.

I am always suspicious when I see an extraordinary breakout bid by a very low feedback bidder. So far, the highest fully credible bidder dropped out at $1700. Looking for any other trace of shilling, it appears the seller does not have any obviously hinky transactions in his record, which is good. High bidder and seller neither give a location in their profile, which is inconclusive of anything. Straining at gnats, the style of usernames is somewhat similar. Overall, just not enough to draw a negative conclusion.

On modern ebay frequently nothing really happens until the last 10 seconds, so I will be interested to see how this all turns out.

The earnes was a typo see questions at bottom of listing.

A little dry ice and that dent will pop right back out.

That trailer needs to have all skins replaced. With the Alcoa finish that would be pricey.

Question

"EAMES"
(Enoromous amont of money esstential Silly)

Maybe us owners aren't seeing this for whats its worth?
If destroyed trailers like this, sell for unreal prices, can only imagine what decent ones will sell for this year

The seller explained that the name was carried over from another auction he was running. I love how he referred any prospective purchaser to us here on the forums to help them fix it.

No, you don't understand. the coach has to be completely destroyed in order to be worth the vast sums seen on Ebay.

Terry, I guess if the winner of this auction were to attempt to tow it very far, it would complete the destroying process. Would that classify it as completly destroyed ? Jeff

Yup, it would then be worth more than a new coach, you could then sell it and retire to Key West in luxury.
