Sorry, not familiar with that window system myself. For the sake of just getting a response on here, I thought leaving my .02 of just not using that window and letting the dealer adjust it. Warranty for airstream is amazing and hassle free. Best of luck!

Our 2002 19' has that type of Hehr window and, in the 17 years we have owned it, that very window has not wanted to close. We just tighten up on the wheel and within a few minutes it usually snaps shut. If not, we push on it slightly on the outside. When towing, it will close on its own if the closing/opening wheel is properly tightened down.

5 minutes with a dremel... shave just a touch off the frame on the wall from the outside wherever it is sticking. My 2019 Sport had the same issue with the dinette window.

Good solution but a bit too drastic for my taste with a trailer that’s a little over a month old. I’ll keep that as a last recourse!

Have the same Bambi, 22’. Windows are a little stiff. Bought some of the (3 and 1
RV rubber protectant). After that window closed ok. Just needed a little lubrication.

Resurrecting this old thread ... Steilkurve, I'm curious how/if this issue was resolved. I've got the same issue on one of my Bambi's windows. I did have my take back appointment with the local Airstream dealer and they tried to "fix" the issue by grinding some of the frame as Prettygood suggested. However, after one trip post-fix, it is contacting the frame again and needs a push on the outside to close. I'm not thrilled with the idea of grinding more of the frame off. I would think the window should be adjusted, but I don't see any way to do so.
Thanks.

We upgraded to a larger AS so I no longer have this unit but I had taken it to the dealer. I remember it improved the situation but depending on weather and therefore expansion or contraction of materials, I still had the problem from time to time. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

That is helpful. I will ask the dealer about this issue, but I don't plan to take it back just for this. If their idea of a "fix" is grinding more of the frame, I'll do it myself.
Thanks!
