Love your idea. If it is a one time deal hire professionals that do trade shows, and possibly take out the fence and then replace it. There is probably a learning curve that you could bypass by hiring professionals.

Hi

One thing getting a quote from a pro would do: He'll tell you if he simply can't do it. If he can't do it, you can't do it....

Get it done!

Pull down the fence with plans to put in sleeves for the fence to drop back into. Purchase or rent caster style, heavy duty mover dollies - one for each wheel and for the hitch. Bolt a pull point into the concrete furtherest from the street and center to the trailer. Jack the trailer up, position the dollies, hook up the cabling to the trailer and pull it into the property. Done. Re-install the fence. After prep is completed, should take less than four hours with about half and hour on the street. jd

Hi

If you go the dolly route, keep in mind that you will have a ton or so on each of the ones under the wheels. Hit the wrong bump and that can go up a bit. Best to rent ones rated for a coupe of tons. That way you can focus on the move and not on the dollies.

On the same topic - pull everything you easily can out of the trailer before you start moving it. Spare tire, LP tanks, water in tanks all can go and come back later.

On the topic of local zoning. How do you plan on dumping the gray and black water tanks? Using a storm drain is *not* a good idea rules and regulations wise ....If you will be putting in a new sewer line to do it, that may take a permit. It also is a really good idea to get that done *before* the trailer is in place. You never quite know where the line will go until you hear from the experts.

Put a ball hitch on the front of your TV and you can do it.

Get a carpenter to build you an office/spare room and go camping with the Airstream.

I'm surprised at the naysayers here.
I think it can be done.
Where is your sewer clean out for your house? Macerator pump for black and grey.
Don't be discouraged, there is almost always a complex solution to the simple problems we create for ourselves.
Soldier on!

Hi

I have a love / hate relation with sewer pumps. I've used them, I have one now on the basement bathroom. They do work (mostly). I'd still recommend checking out the whole sewer issue before you block access to part of that pad. If the main line is under the alley, the fix is easy. If the main line is under the street out front things may be a bit more complex. Blocking access could turn a $300 job into something much more costly.
