Camping Airstream Style

I just have to share our vacation a little with you all we just got back from 5 days of Airstream bliss, this being our longest trip out with the Peppy. J P Coleman State Park (Great) our spot was right on the river spot 58 if you ever go (Mississippi) Now I know why I love the Airstream soooo much there aint nothing like camping with a vintage Airstream the class, the style, and the everlasting experience. The shimmer of the tiki torches by the aluminum and the mystery of where all your Airstream has been. And best of all all the 31 year old things worked as it should in fact in 100 weather the a/c had to be turned down. We were able to have the boat right by our camper and the kids just started the day out swimming every morning.
What a fun trip it was camping Airstream style (priceless)

Smile Photos photos please....Waterfront sites are so nice.

Beautiful description! Thanks for sharing Becky, sounds like a great time. Isn't it nice when you can have your boat right nearby and the family/kids can swim/fish/boat in front of your site without having to cross the roads, etc.? Course we're waterbugs, that's what we love, when we can have the kayaks right on the beach near us, and not have to haul them up and down each time...doesn't that sound spoiled? Thanks for the info about the campground too.

Steph,
You are so right. It was so nice to just get on the boat and shove off. We have camped before where you had to drive to the marina.

Hey Becky,
Glad you enjoyed JP. It is so beautiful up there and tough to ride a bike in all those hills.

Pop and Mimi and Early,

Just to hot for the julips, but there was some other cold adult beverages aflow. Early took the bike and I think I rode it one time and that was around the loop below the hills.
