Bird Flu Hits Florida Trailer Park

I just received news of a sad event at a Florida trailer park. The Bird Flu has had a devastating impact on the local population. Here's a photo of the carnage that a friend near Sarasota sent me.

No banquet at the WBCCI International this year. Lack of good plastic flamingos.

I just went out to check on my birds and they seem to be in great shape and ready to get out and go camping this weekend.

Oh don't worry, they'll have a banquet...just don't order the chicken!

Hope they don't get 'em all. We leave for Mickey World three weeks from Friday and we're counting on a photo op with the Mouse himself!

The Fort Wilderness campgound was GREAT!!!!!! I cannot say enough - not cheap but what is at Disney. The benefits of staying at a Disney resort far outweight the savings of staying at an outside campground (my thoughts). Ask for the 300 loop if you do not have pets (if you do, lie ). We were in the 1600 loop because of Daisey or dog. Still very nice but not walking distance to the camp ground events You will have a blast - we did and are making plans for a return, JUST TO CAMP!

We plan to take delivery of our new AS Memorial Day Weekend and are planning our maiden voyage to Fort Wilderness over the July 4th week end just for orientation to the camp ground with a return trip in October for Mickey's Not So Scarry Halloween Party when the kids have a school holiday.
