Does anyone have any experience with this or any bike rack that mounts in a similiar fashion?

Thanks,
Keith

Yeah they work fine if you have the clearence. The older units like you have may not have the cleaence and in a tight turn the bikes may hit the tanks. I don't feel I have the room on our 59 being pulled with a Burb. Going to put a roof rack on for the bikes (and generator and gas for generator).

I fabricated a 1 1/4 in version and put it in the back of my MH after having clearance problems with more than 1 bike clearing a sob trailer I acquired a couple of years ago.
Anything with any weight hanging on the back of a trailer should be done with caution as it will work most times, but the one time it doesn't you will quite possibly loose control from sway problems and that can be a killer.....

measure and figure is all you can do...lol...jem
