I have a 1965 Caravel. I have done extensive renovations on it, and my wife and I love it. We need a new axel. Does anyone have any input as far as what brand and where to buy it? Thanks in advance.

Here is a place I found in Akron with a Google search that sells Dexter axles:

I'd call them and see if they could work with you to get axles with brackets fabricated to bolt right on to your frame. These kind of shops tend to know their stuff.
