Avion cabover picture

I was looking thru the pics of the 1950's and came across the Avion cabover. Was this unit built by Airstream? Are they kinda' rare?
Thanks,
jerry

Avion and Cayo brand trailers and MH's were produced between 1955 and 1990 and included travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, and pickup campers. My understanding it was started by former Airstream employees. The ones I have been in appear to be a very good product and in the later years they took on a very modern appearance.

OK, Thanks gentlemen. I went by today and looked it over. It is a pretty decent piece, only very slight damage on the lower fiberglass containment area, and two slight scrapes. He also has replaced part of one side window with a small house type a/c. He says the stove and refridge works. It has the original owners book with it- a 1973 model. Supposedly has one busted water pipe in it, and needs toilet repair.
I am a very handy person, having completely restored a 1977 Airstream trailer a few years ago. I was thinking of a project, and wondered what kind of value it might have.
Any ideas? I'll leave a note on the Avion site as well.
