Automatic awnings

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with the install of the electric awning on their Airstream's. I'm thinking about installing one but want to know if it's worth the money. Thanks! Tom and Krista

Power awnings are great when they work. So far ours has done very well. Many express concerns about the electronic "magic" failing. There are ways to get around this and that, it's not as easy as it might be.

I find ours is a plus. Being able to extend and retract at the push of a button gets us using the awning more than we would if we had to mess with the mechanical deploy / retract stuff.
