As a buyer what should I look for

Hello all,

Complete newbie here. What should I look for when considering buying a vintage renovated airstreams? Things like how do I know the frame and subfloor is ok? How about the roof etc? Cracks in exterior? Axles? Title. Etc. thanks so much in advance.

Welcome to the forum Jayandnoa!

I'm a believer in checklists. Kittmaster modified one at this post for delivery of his new Airstream. You could make this a starting point and make your own list.

Others who have vintage trailers may rfecommend particular weak points to check like the ones you've already mentioned.

EDIT: Sometimes the good folks here even offer to check one out if you find one far away and want a quick review before you travel a long distance. Just remember, everything looks better in pictures than in person.
