Happy New Year to all.
Has anyone seen or heard of the 66 Tradewind being offered on e-bay right now?
Peter and I are very interested in bidding on it (although we are pretty apprehensive of making such a large purchase over e-bay).
Would help if we heard from anyone here that might be able to inspect or partially vouch that it really does exist
The 61 Overlander went poof - buyers decided to keep her for a new life. And the big 99 wrek is hung with the insurance company - and it has had about 8 weeks of rain, ice and sleet piled in her (big shame!!-lots of excellent parts could have been salvaged from that baby) So we are about to pull our bid on that if we do not here by Monday.
This frees up our funds to seriously consider this 66 Tradewind. (taking the advice of great forum members that this model might be better suited to our needs and weight restrictions.
It has some issues and by the photos it has had some water damage - but more like a flood of sorts - so not sure - there are water stains on the matresses, and tell tale signs of water damage on the floor level.
We had the same in our GT which we have come to the conclusion it was a burst water pump as well as a leaking water heater possibly during a couple of weeks unattended in storage or something. But the water did not cause any floor rot.
Anyone that can help or has any info on this trailer please pm us we would very much appreciate your time and effort.
"Shari - (Insideout) is this in your neck of the woods/hills/mountains?????
Just moved the "MoonBeam" from her spot - 7 weeks early to departure - so we can plug in and get a few little items done for our big inaugural 3 week snow bird trip.
Tee hee did get the Yuke stuck in the snow bank - not quite enough turning radius in our driveway - so out came the shovels - bit of elbow grease and she is in a new spot warming up.
How is everyones "diet" going -
