any good campgrounds in Prince Edward County?? (near Belleville, Ontario)

hey, the family wants to go camping in the area of prince edward county (south of belleville, ontario) and we're wondering if anyone knows of a good site where they aren't too stern on the '10 yr old rule'. I want to break my old 79 argosy's virginity (since we bought it in september anyways).

we're afraid to be turned away, even though the trailer is rather decent and very solid.

thanks for any feedback!

Provincial parks are a good choice and I don't think they have a 10 year rule. There was a nice one at Presqu'ile but I haven't been there in years.

The beach is great for little children because the water is shallow. We used to go there when I was a kid 50 years ago.

What about Sandbanks Provincial Park in Prince Edward County? Sandbanks is one of the most popular parks in the province.

Provincial Parks, all the way. Sandbanks and Presqu'ile are both beautiful in their own right. We were at Presqu'ile last year for Thanksgiving and loved it.

BTW, keno.....your trailer looks great! Have fun and book early, the Parks fill up real quick. Another good park is Bon Echo.
