Antsy McClain needs an Airstream

, theVAP was contacted by the Trailer Park Troubadours's manager.

Antsy McClain, the lead singer guy, wants to purchase a 30' vintage AS to take on the road to gigs and possibly set up a small recording studio in it as well.

It needs to be usable and towable. If you guys hear of any, please send a note to me and I can forward it to him.

Tim, does he want the pre-1969 30' narrow body, cool '60's vintage trailer, or does he want the 1969 and newer, 31' wider body, also cool 70's vintage trailer?

All they said was vintage and useable. That would make me think 70's.

70's colors and style go with the band pretty well I think...

Come to Washington, Carol. The Columbia county fair has engaged Antsy and the Trailer Pakr Troubadours to entertain at the fair in Dayton, Washington, September 7th and 8th, 2007. The fair has set aside a field for dry camping for Airstreamers wishing to attend the fair and performance. It should be great fun.

There is a forum rally posted for it.

On the 8th, they are performing a free concert for Airstreamers and it will be video taped for a commercial.

there is a 70's 31 Sovereign near Atlanta for 4000 bucks. See Craigslist.com atlanta area.Could be a good deal...

Dang! All you cool people are over there! I wonder...thanks... I will run it by at home. I have seen them perform twice at Homecomings and have the cds, and even have one autographed. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. That was Episode 34 It's a Troubadour Christmas.

I was able to talk him out of an autographed copy as well. Actually three, have to keep Colin and Rob happy ya know...
