I don't know what you guys are talking about. That 3,000lb steel appendage totally fits the theme and style of Airstream. I think it looks great...kind of like barf on a supermodel..."that's hot!" The only thing it's missing is a ladder off the back with some rails to tie down the bailes of hay.

"Lord, why did you make me buy this airstream? Praise Jesus."

To each his own...(doesn't mean I can't poke fun at them).

Honestly, you gotta love the ingenuity. Proves the point that "one of a kind" doesn't always equal "high value". Kind of reminds me of that phrase about socks on a rooster.

I wonder why???
He had over 10,000 hits/views on it. Amazing!

Looks like he relisted it.

Only $17,500 this time.
Good luck to him.
What's the reasoning behind why an eBay seller would use "Buy it Now" instead of a standard auction listing with a reserve? Unless he prices it lower, I doubt he will sell it with a "Buy it Now" at that price. But he does have the "Make Offer" option activated so my guess he is just fishing around to see what price the market will bear.

Minnie's Mate -- you mean you actually spoke with him? Do you know him personally? Tell us more!

BTW...there was not any "anger" lurking in my email that I'm aware of and "anger" was not my intent -- being "informative" was my intent -- I'm sorry if he read it differently than what I intended.

I thought I was helping him out by correcting his misleading statement in his auction listing which indicated that his was the only 5th wheel Airstream in existence. I recently saw an original 5th wheel Airstream at a rally and passed that information onto him.

Now that I think of it, I don't think he ever even thanked me for that illuminating information....hmmmmmm.

Not just another pretty face

Remember "Rambo - Not just another pretty face?"

Well, this thing makes Rambo look positively beautiful.

I went to check the link, and it says the auction has ended. Guess he found out that $600 to $800 is all it's worth in scrap aluminum. One of the few that would be improved by being crushed & recycled.

If I were writing a dictionary of slang terms - I'd define "fugly" with a picture of that 5th wheel.
