Amish & Airstream?

I was wondering if Airstreams are built or were ever built by the Amish? I guess they would have been employees if so? Is Thor Amish owned? Just thinking about it after a post was made concerning the high quality of a Newmar Dutchstar diesel pusher, Newmar being an Amish owned company.

I haven't a clue about a Thor/Amish connection; however, my father who just bought a 2001 DutchStar tells me that the cabinetry is made by the Amish. Nice quality stuff too! I guess I didn't know that the entire company is Amish owned.

They all looked like Yanks to me. I do not think there are any Amish around Jackson Center.

We use Amish girls for certain tasks on our farm, such as transplanting and picking. They seem to have more "common sense", than other kids we have used in the past, and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. I wish they were allowed to drive, so we would not have to pick them up.

Pick, I wish they could drive too.

Have you done a lot of trailering around say 514 , like Greer ?
Love to meet an Amish wagon on those roads, in the evening.
I love the story of the ones who refused to use reflected triangles, so they made triangles out of duct tape !!!!

About Thor/Amish: I don't think that any Amish would be caught dead next to an Airstream cabinet.
