Smile All good things come to an end......

Anyone know how I can change my avatar?

http://www.pickup.aol.egreetings.com...source=aole999

Thanks X for the link!

Like I could almost find the time to do that stuff and leave you all!

Twink is gonna be around here for a long time (to the dismay of some).....or until his political views get 'em banned!

Happy April Fools Day!

Eric

More skinny, please?

He sent me a PM last night. Said he was offered a job in the computer dept. at FLEETWOOD. Before allowing him through the door, though, they required him to refrain from discussing Airstreams with anyone and strongly encouraged him to trade in his trailer for a more "conventional" style.

FLEETWOOD hopes Twink will lead a new forum like airstreamforums.com which will be orientated towards the "white box" crowd. They provided him with some Microsoft software and a Dell server. They are hoping his excitement regarding Airstreams will be transfered to conventional "stick and staple" RVs like the ones Fleetwood makes.

The new job comes with a large infestation of viruses, spread out over hundreds of GATEWAY computers that all need to be fixed, so he's gonna be a busy boy.

A sad day indeed.
Reminds me of a line in a song.

Thumbs up Ahhhh

If only it were true...........

Could life be this good?

generic white what???????

I guess money talks loud, it would take a lot of dollars to get me to go to a different brand RV. Maybe I have been wrong all along, I truly believed in my heart that Airstreamers were unique and stood fast to what they believed in.

I would be the first to admit that there are many SOB's that are very appealing but they are definitely not AIRSTREAMS!

AIRSTREAMS RUUUUUUUUUUUULE!

I know he will be missed by many, me too...........

........Like a root canal

Does the new job come with a new Fleetwood? Does he have to trade in his new A/S? Hard to believe.

Wink

If only if only if only.... as Smily so aptly put it. Man again I find myself in agreement with the ol' King o' Karma, Lord it must be the spring pollen count.

I sadly recall that just days ago Twink was warning us that he'd have 5000 posts soon. ...... Hell I thought he already did!

So woe be it but I must choose to put my dream back in the drawer and not be an April fool over this.

One thing Twink (and summerkid) have given me, is the knowledge of why Chicago is called the Windy City. I just didn't know the air was so hot.

Smily you said "like a root canal", yup...... or like a series of rabies shots. Or hemmohroids.

To me this would be akin to switching religions AND moving to a country that speaks a different language entirely!

I'm smelling an April 1-scented rat, though!

Ok...ok....so as not to make it sound mysterious, I just don't feel it's appropriate to use this forum as an ad to promote a different site...that's all......

....I like the post about the Fleetwood bit, but not true.

A few folks have the new URL, heck a buch of you have seen it in the past. It's just going to be going through some changes. Monday is day one!

I am finding thought that quitting cold turkey here is kind of difficult.
