OK. I think it's time for some consuling. I've organized about five people from the office to come watch the "Airstream Apprentice" at our local watering hole tonight.

I think you're ok as long as you don't drive your motorhome there :-)

My tivo picked up a show called Trekkies the other day about people who are obsessive about the show Star Trek. And I thought man those people need help.

....then I started thinking about myself and my AS......

So the idea is to spend $5000 to turn a 28' airstream into a massage parlor? Massage a go-go? I sure hope the other team has a better idea!

Well, I guess that's the first, and last, time I'll watch that show.

I'll watch it later

I recorded it on my Mac EyeTV while I watched CSI. So, I guess I'll watch it later. We are headed to the North Shore north of Grand Marais tomorrow to see some real snow and will be staying where they have no TV, telephones or booze (Naniboujou Lodge). I'm debating taking the laptop and editing out the commercials and watching. Nah, I don't think so. I'll be taking my cross country skis, snowshoes, good books to read and a bottle of Wild Turkey.

Web Site Recap

If you want to read about the Airstream episode you can check in on the Apprentice 3 website later. It's not posted yet as of this typing. I guess it has to air on the west coast before it posts. The web site is:

I would have enjoyed an interview with the Airstream technicians much more than what the show was about! What ZZZZZZ was the show ZZZZZZ about?

The show was not about Airstreams ... they just happened to be part of the task. The show was about two teams seeing how much income they could generate from $ 5,000.00 in seed money while working together as a team, delegating responsibility, co-ordinating conflicts, developing spirit, and demonstrating their desirability as potential Trump employees. The fact that one team was made up of business owners with only a high school education and the other was made up of professionals with a college degree added a sense of rivalry and some comedic tension to the plot. The boardroom drama, as always, was fascinating to watch. Be there again next week ...

I forgot to watch (it's not on my regular schedule), but I seem to be getting the idea here. So was there much Airstream content? Did you even see the trailers much?

I agree!! I liked the Airstream Tech Guys, I was suprised that they were able to do all that work in one night.
The Today Show did an interview from inside one of the Airstreams...

Any one know what will happen to the Airstreams??

Not much Airstream content, just a great T.V. show.

The Airstreams looked classy parked alongside the street in downtown N.Y. The insides were shown totally empty and the fake wood look vinyl flooring looked nice against the shiny aluminum interior. The techs. were shown pounding a bulkhead into place with some fancy new fabric attached. There were a couple shots of the interiors where business was conducted for each team.

Airstream came off looking very classy but there wasn't a lot of time alotted to them.
