The new tv series Lethal Weapon has an Airstream parked near a CA beach that the main character Griggs resides in. The interior shots attempt to replicate an Airstream, however and likely due to filming constraints, it is much wider and squared off more so.

Halt and Catch Fire Season 4 Episode 4 has an Airstream in it. Looks like a 1970 Overlander or Ambassador.
Cameron (on seeing the Airstream she wants to buy): Oh, this is exactly what I was hoping for! My friend Tori Lowman had an Airstream, we used to play in it.
Joe: Yeah? What did you play?
Cameron: Airstream!
Halt and Catch Fire is a great show about the rise of personal computers and the World Wide Web in the 80's and 90's. If you remember the '80s and/or are interested in technology check it out. Seasons 1-3 are on Netflix and the current season (Season 4 on AMC) is the last one, so there's not a lot to catch up on.

In season 1, episode 16, "The Blind Fortune Teller" of the Fox series "Gotham", there is a scene in Haly's Circus' trailer park. Every trailer is an Airstream except 1, which is an Argosy.

I'm attaching an animated gif file, not sure if it will animate if you click on it. Right click on the image and select 'open in new window' and it will play. It pans across the trailer park.

I finally found it on Netflix, but it didn't come up when I searched for it. So maybe there's a problem with it. I was able to get it on my laptop, but it doesn't show up on my Roku for some reason. Sounds interesting, I'll give it a try.

Halt and Catch Fire -- new season

[ Edit -- not a new season ]

Got an email today reminding us of Netflix's Halt and Catch Fire:

https://www.netflix.com/title/70302182

This does not appear to be newer than the previous link in the last post -- sorry can't edit the headline above about a new season.

The HCF instruction, as originally conceived, was a gag. "Move and Lose Record" was another example...somewhere I have the original list circa 1970's...

However, early versions of the Motorola 68000 processor had a short instruction sequence that would, in fact, lock up the microprocessor, and cause sufficient heating to blow the lid off the integrated circuit and destroy the chip. Saw that demonstrated live by an unsuspecting PhD from Motorola when one of the wise guys in the crowd asked him to input a short program...that included that sequence. Hilarity ensued...

Christmas Under the Stars

Wife & I watched a Hallmark movie a couple of weekends ago called Christmas Under the Stars starring Jesse Metcalfe and Autumn Reeser. There's an Airstream through the whole movie that is the office of a Christmas tree lot and half the movie takes place in the lot. The movie starts off with a scene of the tree lot owner towing the trailer to the lot, then various scenes take place in and around the Airstream. It looks like an Excella.

Companies pay big bucks to have their product in films.
It's called 'product placement'.
Notice on Nascar some driver's drink a Coke during interviews? Coke contributes to a charity every time it's seen.
During NFL games, we used to log any time a Gatorade was seen. No one mentioned it, other than the director would call for a shot of the bench, with a Gatorade, if possible.
The Goodyear Blimp has a person sitting in the production truck to log "Blimp Pops". The blimp MUST be shown once a quarter.

I've heard Ben Afflack has an Airstream Pan America he uses for a dressing room. It began in "The Accountant"
Quote:
.“It’s at my house. I kept it,” the star tells Made in Hollywood reporter Kylie Erica Mar. . … I loved the Airstream. So they gave me a deal on it after, and I use it as a trailer now when I’m doing movies.”

That's interesting that Hallmark has produced two Christmas movies with Airstreams and Christmas trees. Our Airstream was in Fir Crazy, another Hallmark Christmas movie.

Watching the LIVE feed from Blue Origins in Van Horn, Texas. Cap'n Kirk is about to blast off into space (for real this time). Guess what they use for crew quarters? Late model Airstreams, looks like about a 30 footer. Each crew member gets one (as near as I can tell).

It's live right now on The Science Channel if you're so inclined. Launch is on hold for some reason, but should go in about an hour.

Movie, The Accountant (2016)

Anyone see it, (Ben Affleck) ? Had a very nice Airstream in it. About 34', 3 axle. Not to start a debate but believe it was being pulled by an F 150 (not agreeing, just saying). It seemed to have a very nice wooden interior. Very good movie.

After I saw that movie I googled it because I liked the porthole window the trailer had inside. It's a PanAmerican pulled by an F150 and has an interesting story that goes with it.

I don’t know if anyone brought up “The Sound of Metal”. It won 2 Oscars and had a nice 345 in it.
