Airstreams in GM ads

One of the guys on a website I moderate collects old GM truck sales brochures and has made a website of them. Though it might interst some folks here.

BTW is that a 70 or 71 Sub? or a 72 since you say the ad is from 71?
amazing how many car ads don't give the year of the product anywhere on them.

Now how did you post that minus the thumbnail?

That ad is for the 71 model. 71 and 72 were the only years for that grill. 69 and 70 had a tim strip through the middle that say Chevrolet on it or GMC. I use to have a 70 and now regret selling it. 67-69 the strip was body color with the openings having a thin garnish around the openings. Depending on the trim level that garnis was either painted steel of polished stainless.
