Airstream's 1966 Vintage refurb on ebay

We saw this trailer at the Airstream Service Center a few weeks ago, they where asking 70K for it, will be interesting to see how the bidding goes. It's a wonderful looking trailer.

Very sexy... I like everything about it except the cabinet doors, which don't seem the right style to go with the rest of the refurb or the original '60s look, but I'm very opinionated about that kind of thing. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the reserve price is a lot higher than I'd be comfortable spending so I'm not bidding unless I win the Mega Millions tonight. That makes my design-snob attitude about the doors a totally moot point.

Nicely done, except those cabinet doors. If I had the money, those would be out the door before it even leaves the lot.

I saw it at Alumapalooza. One big problem with that rebuild ... there is no hanging closet space! None.

Other than that, it was nice but I agree with the comments on the unsuitable cabinet doors.

The Motherships' 1966 redo

Really love what they did to her, especially the bathroom! Neat that they used the 66 Tradewind...but again, Im a little biased
