AirstreamPhotos.com Downtime...
I am moving the site to another server. When our server melted down so did the expensive software I had installed. Rahter than pay to have it reinstalled on this server, I have it installed on a much faster machine. Look for it to be back up soon. Then I will plan on moving this site in a couple of months. I need to do some more upgrades to the other server before I move the forums.
Darn, those pictures take a long time to download then reupload! All 2,900+ of them!

Andy,
Should we wait to upload our images until you've moved to the new server, or can we still upload now, and the pics will be moved along with the rest of the site?
I'm working on sizing my photos so that they don't keep coming up saying the file is too big.

Part of the reason the photo upload function was shut down was the fact that the thumbnail software was blown away in the crash. I found out when I tried to upload some of the Midwest Rally photos and got giant thumbnails.
It looks like the photo site is completely down at this point so you will just have to wait until Andy gives us the announcement that all is well again.

OK Jack, thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll just work on getting my avatar pic sized down so that it will upload correctly. This photo stuff is a little confusing for me. I'm sort of computer illiterate, and it takes awhile for me to read up and attempt tasks. What is the best program for editing digital photos, besides the software that comes with the camera, which, I might add, broke on me. I'm looking for a good but inexpensive one now.

I have the Microsoft program (one of those five) loaded in my computer, so I went there and all I had to do was choose 'change picture', then 'change size'. Of course, I had to use help to find out how to re-size a pic. I didn't save anything because I was just experimenting til I get a new digital camera. But I'm glad to know that at least I can do it now! Thanks again.

I'm still working on it. Trying to connect the to server's databases has been much more challenging than I anticipated. Be patient, I promise I'll get it up and running again!
