It's been awhile since I've had opportunity to check in with y'all, it's good to see some progress on this thread and agree it is time to move forward with a decision. CJ--I'm looking forward to seeing your artist's submission as well. However, I'd also like to take a moment to commend everyone who has made a submission, I think we have a terrific range of ideas to choose from as members and are fortunate to have fellow individuals willing to share their creativity. Thanks.

Sorry, to make you post that hyperlink again,,,however, I have ongoing eye-strain..and often miss things unless pointed out to me. While I don't expect preferential treatment, a little doesn't go unappreciated.

I went to that link...& there's a good selection showing very good creativity and lots of efforts of many. This is very exciting.

& "Catstream" , I still want one of yours if enough others request it to warrant your having it produced. There is a 'medium' to prevent colour deterioration, isn't there? Hopefully, it will be cost-effective, so we'll be able to get yours and whatever one the 'forum' votes for.

I send you an email some time ago, telling you that Catstream may be swayed to sell the original art work (a serving tray).
You never replied.

Catstream's Trays- Off Topic,,,sorry

Peter...

I thought only those who wanted the tray should reply...my post (above ) is regarding the "sticker", not the trays.

I've been in touch with "Catstream" off the Thread, in Personal Messages, & I just now emailed her about wanting her sticker, in case she didn't see the previous post you are referring to

Back to the Thread...

a french touch...

Hi there;
I'm a recent happy owner and i've red with great interest your replies about the stick. My be have you made a choice and I'm sure it'll be great; So if not, I 'ld like to give you my french touch, if that can bring somthing in progress in the final decision; I do short:

What we love in these airstreams: the look, aluminium riveted, and unique design. I propose the rivet form as stick
The font 'll be a reflect of alumium, with different color when the look position is changing.
The goal of this stick is not to do publicity on the forum, it does search that on the road, but it a recognised sign of a community who love and discuss the airstreams, so no necessarry to put " . com " or other , but only , by exemple, Airstream forum member, with the same wonderfull mirror writting as on our vehicles.
Simply, visible, nice , intrigue sign and international too; what more ?

I can represent you this idea in virtual , I'm not great in this work on web.

Thank you to have red my lines, sorry for the english faults;

Bruno.

Off Topic...to Courageous Foreign Post(er)

How lovely to get a "post" ("stick">??) from someone in another country! I am impressed that you write even though you know you may not use the English language at it's best... (Who does actually?) But, you are courageous. and your courage shows also in your attempt to describe a design.

If you like to send your "Post" (stick?) in French...I can attempt to translate if for you...I am happy to help...& I hope I have.
..........."Cat"

Je suis heureux] aider. ,,,I espère que j'ai........"Cat"

OK folks! Here's my submission for the ASF sticker design. I tried to consider everyones input to this point and yet not have it look like too many cooks. I believe the design embodies what ASF is all about. Printed on a clear vinyl sticker it will give the illusion of frosted glass. Nuff said. Here 'tis..... hope you like it!

CJ,

Just curious, do you think this could be done also as a static cling decal. One we could place on the inside of a window?

I also like this design. Really sharp!

Wow, thanks everyone. We thought (hoped) you'd like it.

Answer to Jack Canavera: Yes. It was designed to be used any number of ways and applications. From opaque to transparent and anywhere in between. It can even be used as a corporate letterhead.

Happy holidays!
