Shari,
only the ones I missed.
I think Andy should make a postcard out of that one.
Once you reach 3 rivets you get a postcard.
I noticed a typo and tried to replace that picture with no avail. I placed a corrected one in the logo archive.
http://www.airstreamphotos.com/photo...t=3008&thumb=1
Remember, you can rant and rave in the logo archive, as some of you already have done.
Now, go get some spray paint and write Airstreamforums.com on your silver bullet, take a picture and submit it.

Wow Peter your sticker says it all. Actually says more than I wanted to know!! Just kidding.
I like the idea of a license plate frame as well. I also like the sticker thing, I guess it depends on how far Andy wants to go with all this, as I would also like a t-shirt. I spend enough time here I would enjoy promoting the site even more.

The Logo sticker/plate really needs to be designed to attach to the front of the trailer. When I am walking the dog in a campground and go past a vintage airstream I think "Do I Know These People fron the Internet?". With a logo badge I would know.

Licence plates...

Hi ALL...
Best wishes from over the pond, NOT quite A/S, but...on our 1st visit to your beautiful Florida, I reversed the van into a parking space, only to be told I was facing the wrong way, now as there WAS a high verge and bushes in the way, I was unable to drive forward , so I could see NO problem...BUT, it was soon made clear to me, that our hire vcle: only has a REAR license plate and the patroling police officer gets real UPSET if he has to get OUT of his patrol car, to check if our vehicle is legal...I thought it was a wind up, after a quick look around ...I noticed I was the ONLY driver who done it W R O N G ...Ooopsssss!!!!!
I can see the logic in it, but still think it is laziness on the law side...I think some of them eat TOO many doughnuts, and the EXERCISE would do them GOOD...lol...Chris...

static cling?

I would just like to see what ever you pick be static cling. The is no way that my husband will put any regular stickers on our precious airstream. It would be great to be traveling and know who is from the forom.

logo idea

how about building a logo off of:

A/S4M

what could convey 'online community' more than a silly little abbreviation?

somebody out there with more computer skill than me could superimpose A/S4M (Airstream font in blue of course) over a simple side view black schematic line drawing of a vintage bambi or safari. (like airstreambohemia.com has on her site right now) even better, you could put in A/S4M in place of a wbcci # on a really clean drawing of the front of a classic rig.

something that simple wouldnt have to be very big to communicate--certainly no bigger than any of the other window stickers out there, and maybe smaller.

the point is that the sticker is mostly a heads up to other members, right? in that case i think really clean, less-is-more design is where it is at.

Hey y'all,

Another silver lining newbie here, a recently acquired 1966 Overlander, hubby and my first Airstream and TT. You've picqued my innterest with your logo design ideas, have you made any decisions?

I'm seeing some great ideas happening. I am a graphic artist earning my bread and butter with a sign business-- absolutely no hard sell here, just offering up assistance if needed.

By the by, we're thrilled to be part of this grand experience. Happy Trails!

Thanks for the welcom Dave... a fellow artisan, and a libra!

How long have you been an Airstreamer? ME? In my heart for several years, in reality, about a month. We'd love to head down the road to your corner of the world, just the silver lining I had in mind when I started in on this dream.

For now, it's one more local trip before Mother Nature sends in the snow, then a renovation hibernation and back out in the spring in full, hopefully polished glory. I believe our first true excursion will be then, westward ho, to the wilds of Wyoming and Montana. That'd be the happy camper on happy trails tour.

Carmen,
No decision has been made. Hopefully we will get some more design ideas, before it is put up for a vote by all forum members.
Keep em coming!

Welcome Carmen!
We would love for you to submit a design!

Also, I like the static cling stickers too! They dont look as good from the outside do they?

I just got a shiny Camping World sticker in the mail. It is 2" 1/4 tall by 4" wide. I would think that shiny stickers will fade fastest?

Cheers,

Andy
