Cool.

I wish it didn't say born free on it. The graphic is great!

I agree. It would be even cooler to have a long sleeved version of the shirt.

I just looked carefully at your website, tcl, at the aluminum veneer installation page. Looks awesome. Do you glue it on, or use some kind of a tool? I have a garage full of tools, maybe we have it already.

I used upholstery adhesive for the endcap, then rivited it all in. It's jsut flashing, easily scored with a knife, and bent to snap. It just takes practice!!!

Put the graphic on the back and the name "Airstream" on the front where the pocket would be and do away with the cheesy" Born Free", then you woul dhave a nice tee shirt.

Anybody feeling entrepenurial?

Actually, this might be an idea for Unit/Rally fund raising, too:

Or buy iron on transfer paper and print your own with your own picture. They aren't as nice as silk screening, but they are durable.

...and a cease & dissist from Airstream.

I'm SURE this t-shirt will not be available once Airstream sees it.

Yup. They've gotta protect their image, even if (as in this example,) it's a nice idea. I think if it were in a non-profit sense, just to make a few bucks for the local VAC chapter, or to commemorate a rally, I don't see where the mother ship would protest. It's when it's done as a clear move to generate money, and on a larger scale, such as a web store, that you'd run into problems.

At least that's my guess on the parameters lawyers would use to determine whether or not to make a fuss.

Am I mixed up, or isn't Born Free a name connected with an SOB? STtrikes me as misplaced with the AS. Like others, I really like the image, and if it had a little "Airstream" wording in place of the B...F.., I'd buy.
