Airstream Studio Sighting
I was driving through San Francisco today and spotted an Airstream converted to a remote radio station studio. It was just ahead of me in heavy traffic on Van Ness, so not easy to get too many details. It is at least a 30 footer, all walls were completely filled with windows, and included wide rear end door. It looked like it could have been purpose built. At the very least it was a sanitary retrofit. I could see the control panel and microphones in the back section and what I presume to be the uplink antennae on the roof. On the length of the curbside roof was what appeared to be a computer controlled messaging sign. I did not see any other identification on it or the tow vehicle. (Could have been, but traffic soon separated us). Too bad I didn't have my digital camera. Any Bay Area Airstreamers know about this one?
