Heading south on "the 5" (trying to mimic left-coast speech) from Seattle to Portland and saw 3 rigs - 2 34-footers and and a 20-22 Bambi/Safari/International.

Camped tonight at a KOA near Corvallis and there are 2 others here. Feel like I'm back at JC.

Saw a newer, smallish Airstream on 322nd st headed west, in Joplin about 20 minutes ago. We were going the opposite direction, couldn't tell what it was for sure in the dark and it was gone before we had a good look. Might have been a Bambi. Possibly a newer Safari.

Small group before the herd.

Hi, here is a small group of Airstreams (7) in Winslow, Arizona on their way to meet up with the herd mentioned in post #1586 on their way to the Balloon Fiesta.

I've never seen two in one day before.
Scott- I saw one on the 240 loop today as well. It didn't have numbers on the front but looked like a 70's 25 footer. They were merging onto I-40 off of 240 heading west. Saw it over the concrete barrier but couldn't see the TV. It was at exactly 12:30 pm today...

I recognize Moosetags in that first photo!

Yesterday I saw a mid-60's to early 70's model parked in the front yard of a home on Hwy 16 (not the interstate I-16, mind you) just east of Jackson, GA. It was still hitched to a truck. I just barely saw it as I passed, but the way it was parked made it look like they owner was visiting. No numbers that I could see.

saw 2 on our way home from springfield, Il. on I-55. First one at 12:15 pm was hard to make out, it was a vintage airstream being towed by a yellow vintage TV.... real cool. The second was a 30ft being towed by a blue suburban, also on I-55 at about 1230. This was our first time towing ours and seeing other Airstreams. We were waiving and kids were screaming.....

That's an Argosy Minuet 7.3, right? The 24' one? Looks in pretty good shape on the outside, except for something happening to the left of the door...?

I think it's an Argosy 26. It looks like the marks to the left of the door are just scuffs on the paint.

We made a leaf peeping trip with family from out of town this weekend. Ultimately we spent some time in the Laural Highlands of Pennsylvania, including Ohiopyle, PA. We saw two Vintage Airstreams just below Kentuck Knob, which we're pretty sure belong to the owner of Kentuck Knob (Lord Palumbo). They're not polished, but looked good sitting at the barn. We also saw a vintage just north of Ohiopyle on Rt 381. It looked great! Three in one trip, a new record for us.

I believe that the area you commented on (to the left of the door) is a faded decal or logo. It looks like a duck or some other water fowl. There are also some words incorporated into the design that are no longer legible. The same imprint also appears on the opposite side of the trailer.

Although it was getting dark when we stopped to take the photos there was still enough light to see inside. It looks to be in pretty good shape. Has orange carpet throughout. There is a very faded sofa (jack knife?) along the front. Kitchen is just to the left of the door with additional counter space just across from the kitchen. There is a bed in the center with counter and closets across from the bed. The bathroom is located across the back and contains tub/shower, toilet, sink and closet. There are no curtains or shades but it appeared as though the tracks for curtains are still in place. It has three ceiling vents in the main area, couldn’t see if there is a vent in the bathroom.

Of course, just peaking in the windows it was difficult to tell, but there didn’t appear to be any leaks around any of the roof vents or windows. All windows are intact.

The housing that contains the rear lights is cracked on one side and there is also a dent below this area. The rest of the body is in very good shape.

Ah, OK, I get it. Here's me thinking it's been hit by a duck, but really, it was a ducky decal. Was there a price on the FS sign?

On the Route 66

Here is a strange carrier with 2 A/S, seen on the Route 66, last winter ( see the snow), just before arriving at " Cadillac Ranch", Texas.

I've taken the photo while driving ...

Bruno.

No price on for sale sign, just a local phone number.

I can call and find out the asking price and also take some interior photos if you are interested. I can also get some better exterior photos if I have more light.

Very gracious offier, but please only do it if you are interested in finding out yourself. I do have my eyes on a similar TT, but I am probably unable to make a move on one until next spring.

Thanks for your offer, I only wanted you to know that yeah, I curious, but likelihood of me moving on it are slim.

Yes i am very carefull in taking photos or video when driving...
I used to do that from a long time now, since there are too much great panoramas to see and no time to stop each time...
hopefully, my camera is so easy to use that only one hand is necessary...
But the photos are not perfect and I have to be speedy to take the right moment as this truck with 2 A/S....
