Driving into Eureka Springs Ark yesterday, we were following a brand new (still had the temp paper lic on the back) Classic. Being pulled by a new F150, Platinum. Nice looking set up, and appeared to be riding nice and smooth on the hilly twisty roads of Arkansas.

There were a few Airstream coaches in Albuquerque. Views include the Balloon Museum, the field ready to pop, the Grand Ascension, and the guardian of camp fire best practices. Lots of smiles all around. Pat

Saw you, westbound on I-10, thirty miles east of Quartzsite. Dark grey tow vehicle, possibly a Ford F-250. Newer Airstream....

Yesterday I was on my way to fish at Taylorsville Lake, KY, passing by the campground. I saw an Airstream Excella (I think), about 30', pulling out. Rolled down the window and waved, no time for a photo. It was a beautiful morning; gentle breeze, sun was up and about 59 degrees.

Heading home today from Red Rock Canyon State Park in Hinton, OK: saw a 28-footer(?) heading west on I-40 on the west side of OKC...... then a motorhome (not the silver kind) that was heading west new Shawnee, OK..... Then an early 70's tandem axle trailer a few miles past Shawnee, OK... Then a newer AS somewhere near Sallisaw, OK..... none in Arkansas the rest of the way home.

News clippings as "sightings" is stretching things IMO.

As the first post said . . .

There is a forum for Airstream In The News:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f224/

. . . where clippings, photos and links to articles work great IMO.

As far as actual in-person sightings go, there is an interesting continuity here in seeing the geographical diversity in the photos and text reports IMO.

Saw lots of AS in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley this weekend.

Thursday night there were five AS at Shenandoah River State Park (32 total campsites!) - an older 23 Safari, 2 Bambi's, a 25+, and us.

Friday we saw 2 AS headed north on Route 340 and an Argosy and a 25+ in Big Meadows campground in Shenandoah NP.

Yesterday we saw a 25+ entering onto Route 7 and had a bonus sighting of a Bowlus Road Chief that we followed through Front Royal. First time seeing one of those on the road...

So now everyone should post "non-sightings" here?

The Airstream in the news forum works just fine for clippings, photos, and news articles, etc., as linked earlier.
