Made a trip from Bentonville, AR to Oklahoma City. Didn't see ANY Airstreams or Avions on the way here, until we were turning into the KOA here in Choctaw, OK (off of 1-40 exit 166, nice place!!!!). This AS was in the driveway across the street:

Airstreams are showing a strong presence in SouthWest Colorado.
We drove past two this morning at Morefield Campground in Mesa Verde National Park, spotted two more in Dolores, and are at a campground on the Dolores River with two more ( plus an Avalon cousin). Fun.

Driving around in OKC today, saw a nice late-model AS being towed by a beautiful F250 PowerStroke 4x4. It was heading east on I-240 on the south side of Tinker AFB.
(P.S. The roads and highways in and around OKC are uniformly crummy)

Saw a newerAirstream pulled by a white van westbound on I-90 east of Missoula, Montana - then further east (we were eastbound) on I-90 a new Airstream (WBCCI 1850) pulled by a GL/ML Mercedes, also eastbound appeared in the rear view mirror and passed US! We all honked and waved! We're at the Vintage Rally tonight in Livingston, MT for the "Old Time Fiddlers" fest. More Airstreams here, too. (Stop by - goes til Sunday)

Here is someone with a prime camping spot in the city. Actually, it houses a bicycle rental business along the river in Chicago. They cut a door in the back - it looks like to get the bikes in and out at night.

We saw an Interstate that passed us on I-40 near exit 178 (near Shawnee, OK). We're on our way home, stopped in Shawnee to eat lunch with a couple we met a few weeks ago when we were at Lake Fort Smith.

We are leaving OBX - about 35 miles up on NC 168 just passed a silver beauty of the motor home variety parked at produce stand on south bound side of road with a bunch of bikes on back. Hope their weather is as fine as ours this past week.

I spotted two Airstreams today! A late 50's early 60's model with red wheels at the intersection of route 322 & 934 near Annville, PA. It was followed by an Excella. Sorry, no time for a picture.

Caught this one pulling out of Out Of Doors Mart in Greensboro, N.C. today around 4pm. They headed east on I40.
