For some reason I was estimating the age and length of the trailer in Overlander66's avatar- I reckon that would be a '66...

Can't quite wrap my head around the concept of staying in a hotel when you have a trailer...

That is a very nicely executed rear lift door!

It appeared to be converted into a mobile food vending unit.

Pretty sure it's not a mobile food-vending trailer, given their twitter feed says they are designers of luxurious natural leathers and exquisite leather bags and accessories. However, maybe they sell their goods out of the trailer?

I always wanted a job designing luxurious natural leathers. First, I have to design a BuffaDeeraSheepaRabbaGatorLope to get just the right kind of luxurious natural leather.

Oh, and to stay on topic: I saw a slew of shiny new Airstreams today at our local dealer since we had to drop ours off for some quick service before we go camping next weekend. Oh, and in the back lot we saw a poor, tired, rusty looking Argosy motor home waiting for some tender loving care. Here's hoping they can bring it back to it's former glory. It could be cute as a button again with the right hands on it.

I was referring to the longer, somewhat newer Airstream photo that was asked about. Perhaps you were referring to the photo of the older, shorter Airstream that followed. That one is a 1959 18" Pacer.

Finally hit the road, I saw two, granddaughter one. Mine were Route 78 Eastbound in NJ, it was new 16', the second one was also Eastbound and gave a hardy hello wave. That unit much longer, 27 or 28. Abby saw one in the woods in Lancaster County.

My poor family does not quite understand my happiness of seeing other airstreams, except for grandkids who make it a game. My husband who commutes on a rather busy Rt 287 each day, does report at dinner what he has seen! Pretty funny.

Saw a unit West bound with white tow truck on I-40 in the first 30 or so miles of Arizona on Wednesday, 16 April and I saw another one eastbound two days later in the same area.

Also saw what looked like a 30 foot 2014 international while we were biking in that area - did not get a shot though

Pardon the off topic aside comment here, but if you make the mistake I did of saying this out loud, you won't be able to stop laughing. Good Job - thanks.

My avatar shows a 1955 22' Safari that I used to own. Don't have a similar photo of my current Airstream to change it to.

Just dropped my trailer off at Ft. Meade's RV storage lot and saw 4 other Airstreams: 1985 Limited (with maroon band), 23' Sport, 2006 Custom Bambi, and I forgot the last one. No one had numbers posted.
