There is an Airstream in another trailer park scene on Every Which Way But Loose.

How about 251 airstreams in Sarasota at Alumnaflamingo. Great time here for last 5 days. Leaving today and already signed up for next February

Firedog1,

251 opportunities for a photo and you missed all of them? That would be worth hiring a pilot for an aerial shot!

Actually the organizers had an Ariel drone photograph the rally. I think they said it may go on YouTube they show segments at the rally. Fabulous

Not certain, but it looked as though there was an Airstream in the background on "The Walking Dead" tonight.

Spotted/passed along side a newer 24'ish that was WB on I-10 between Phoenix and Quartzsite. It had 2 bikes on back & 2 kayaks on the tow vehicle (a white pickup w/a shell). We honked while passing. Safe travels.

I'm certainly not a logistician, but doesn't it make more sense to load those backwards on the flatbed?

Perhaps the shell is designed only to be watertight going forward as the panels overlap a certain way?
OK.... watertight to a certain point.....
Just saying

OK wait.... mine leaks on a dry sunny day with the breeze blowing the right way.... parked in a garage... in the desert....
Besides how the hell do you get them on that way.... furthermore.... how do you get them back off at the dealer? Why is everything Airstream so complicated?
Great... its midnight, I simply got up to pee, check the forum and now I have this to ponder keeping me up all night.
May be they sling them, perhaps a sling.... but wait.... at the destination is there a crane to lift them? Perhaps a winch... no....
Maybe its photoshopped... yup that's it!
OK back to sleep....

Jim
Nose forward allows to lower it down for areo dynamic reasons, if you load nose to the rear then the tail is up in the air and allows for lift, which is not good.

in the center of the trailer is a guide rail w/posts on a cable that go into the hitch, the winch pulls them on, then on delivery it is reversed and pushes the trailers off.

Friday March 7th, around 2:30 or so in the afternoon, heading north on the I-15 near Temecula, CA....a little caravan of trailers!

First I noticed a shorter Bambi trailer, and then about 5 seconds later, it was followed by 3 other AS trailers.

Was really fun to see them all together, and I couldn't help but wonder where they were from and where they were going!

Saw an older AS wrapped on Jake Linenkugal Beer advertising somewhere in Alabama last week.
Saw a nice 31' or so on I-65 north of Nashville yesterday. Waved but the timing of a big rig blocked a clear shot.
Oh by the way... its darned cold up north. Its no wonder everyone is staying at home. Its been a lonely winter on the road.

Found these in Foley Alabama today. Wow O Wow..... All for sale, mostly gutted inside. One, the '57 is bound for Germany to be turned into a "diner" "Stream, and then on to Japan. The guy there we talked to was very interesting, and owns about 10+ trailers. We were surprised to see so many in one yard.

Kid Rock in Jim Beam Commercial with Airstream!!!

We found this one in Foley Alabama, too !!! What a sight to see..... Think it is a '70 Airstream, used in a commercial for Jim Beam Whiskey, featuring Kid Rock.... I actually sat on the same stool as Kid Rock!!! Yup, it's for sale, too. Don't know the price, but it was SPECIAL ....
