Went to visit this one today too! This one is also in the NW corner of SC. It has a lot of good pieces on it, but I don't need this one right now. Too may projects already. I do have the owners name and phone number if anybody is interested. He also wants around $2500, but I'm sure he would negotiate. His wife said she wants it gone.

What on Earth is that thing on the rear panel? Looks like a giant exhaust port.

North Texas sighting

DW says she saw southbound AS just north of Decatur on Hwy 287 this morning as she was headed north. Thought it was a little longer than our Safari and perhaps pulled by a Sequoia or Highlander? Anyone?

I think it's a spare carrier without the spare itself.

Airstream Sighting in Vancouver, BC

This Land Yacht cruised right by us on Hwy 1 in Vancouver BC -- we were just outside of West Vancouver approaching North Vancouver....the TV was a Ford F350....

I was drooling !!

Please, I would be most grateful if you could put me in touch with them! Thanks! Mike 202 439 3506

Shouldn't you be polishing or posting an update?

This is what happens when I get bitter about staying at work for 10 or 11 hours a day for weeks on end-- I start to troll the forums for an hour or two in the middle, reducing my working time closer to normal, and then I don't finish the work that had piled up, and then I stay even later.

Also, I just updated. I should just leave work and head to the trailer....

Exhaust port for afterburner! Maybe???

Realistically, I'm not sure, but the water heater is in that area.

Saw what looked like a 30 or 31' Classic pulled by a red Dodge PU eastbound on I70 about midpoint between St. Louis and Effingham, IL today while on business travel.

Saw this in the storage yard at Hidden Springs Campground near Rocky Gap State Park in Western MD. The people at the campground said it has been there for a while, the owners apparently intended to restore it but have not done anything to it. The folks said they would not be surprised if the owners were willing to part with it.

Passed a classic MOHO loaded onto a flatbed on I-285, west side of town a couple hours ago. If somebody just bought that one, the shipper is on the way.

Saw two today heading west on I70. A 90s MH and a 70s 26-30 with blue striped awnings. I know this because the rear awning was flapping in the wind.

hey i got one!

Airstreams trundle around all over the place out here, but I tend not to cart a camera around.

But today I stopped at Rite-Aid on the north side of Lincoln City and look what I found! Of course, I skulked in the shrubbery till the owners came strolling back. What terrific people with a gorgeous '65 Caravel. Immediately forgot their name & Air handle, but they live near Portland. You could tell that they are just a genuinely warm couple.

They said there was a scratch on the back end, but not so's I could see.

Yesterday we saw more than an handful while heading down the Oregon Coast but the prize was an Airgosy and an Airstream parked side by side of HWY 101 in Girbraldi, Or.

Yesterday whilst shopping at the Fred Meyer in Tillamook we ran into a clown that drives an Airstream. The rig was a nice beautiful one and it had a Hobo living in it....
