We've all seen other people abuse a privilege and the result is the rest of us lose it as well. That never goes well with me. Sorry if I jumped the gun, but the original post didn't point out that their truck was in for service.

Hi, on our last trip, we thought we might save time and money by boondocking in a Wal-Mart parking lot. On a 4,500 mile, 18 day trip, we stopped at two Wal-Marts for this purpose, but they both had signs saying we couldn't. So far in about five years owning and traveling with our Airstream we have never been able to camp at Wal-Mart.

Saw this '77 Argosy South of Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. A friend and I were just returning from a camping trip in the deep desert (7 hours from the nearest pavement) and I was telling him the difference between Airstreams and Argosies when I looked to my right and saw this. What are the odds?

You mean to tell me you intentionally went camping in 130 degree heat?
That's dedication, man! And that Argy looks pretty rough. Hope somebody can rescue that rascal.

Spotted 1 A/S headed south into Florence, OR this morning on US 101, and saw another parked at Sea Lion Caves on the 101 (had a Ford TV with a white inflatable raft in the bed. Still learning models and length estimates.

We were camping in April. Luckilly it was only in the low 90's then. I wouldn't brave the desert this time of year.
I do hope somebody rescues that Argosy. Hard to imagine what path it must've followed to wind up there.

Just finished our Sunday evening meal and this beautiful vehicle arrived.
A rare site in our country to see two Airstreams parked next door to each other. Made our day.

Hi,
2 31ft soveriegns parked side by side in Shady Oasis in victorville ca last 2 nights, us and some forum friends had a mini rally.
On the way home this morning, saw 2 Argosys along I15 going South. One parked on private property, about a 24ft and one in a storage yard near Norco, about a 24 ft. Both could use some TLC.

Well we arrived at Apache Campground Myrtle Beach friday night about 1 am and got parked enough to go to sleep but what did I see when arriving, a early to mid 60's Avion parked just a few spaces down from us. Next morning on our way out took a drive through the Park and low and behold a 34 Excella 1000 parked just a few rows from us, what a nice looking unit, the Wbcci number was 188?? and I forgot what is was should have written it down, dang. Tried to catch them at home but no luck, they pulled out this am before I had a chance to catch them.

Funny how I saw the exact same thing . I should add that we were the other "friends" at the mini-rally. A great time was had by all attending!

Boy do we love traveling - keep spotting more Air Streams. Saw an 07 or 08 25' Safari in the Safeway parking lot in Florence, OR this morning, and as we got home, a sort-of close neighbor/book dealer (1/2 mile away) was pulling out of his yard with his A/S.

That motor home looks familiar. You should PM ALANSD on this site and see if that was his. That would be a coincidence to see two Airstreams together in the UK and both of them from this forum.

I saw one camping in the Cabela's parking lot in Hammond, Indiana on my way home from Milwaukee, Wi on Saturday night. Then on Sunday afternoon I was sitting on the deck and happen to look up and there was one right before me headed north on 231.

I was working in the Bay Area yesterday and just finished taking some photos of a building so my camera was sitting on the car seat next to me, grabbed it and almost missed this one, I think it was being pulled by a dakota, not sure (and there was a kayak or canoe on the tv).
