I agree with the year suggested by Joe (61 or 62), but it doesn't look quite that long to me. So I'm guessing 24' Trade Wind...
Aage - did you happen to notice if it was single axle or dual axle? Can't tell in the photos.
By the way, I spotted a 78 or 79 Ambassador sitting in the lot at R. Kennedy Davis RV, off US 30 in Imperial, PA, today. Must be in for some repair work.

We have just come back from camping at Roaring River in Paradise Valley Resort, and there was an about 21, 22 ft Airstream in the resort, Tradewind maybe? Wasn't sure and could never catch the owners outside to talk to them (I'm not one to just walk up and knock on doors) and they didn't come to visit us either. So we didn't get to meet them.

Roy,
The OP was Ommuel, not me. I just helped make them visible. The OP said,
" Didn't get too close bc of it getting dark and the repair business being closed. Didn't look to be too recently used, but not sure. Did have the .com penna license plates and an ac on roof... What year/model is it gang? I'm learning-
Route 443 and Wetherill Road between Tpke 476 and I-81 in PA."
I looked again at the other two pics, between the weeds and the trash, you can't even see if it has wheels...

Do I get brownie points for sighting our own airstream? I was watching a campground video posted online and I saw our airstream! Not sure when it was taken. We were there in the fall and early spring for quite a while.
Ain't that funny? Our trella is famous! LOL!

I want to say it was a dual axle.. not sure. I didn't want to get too close in the dark and then have to explain what I was doing lurking around their repair shop. The front window "treatment" seems to be saying 'abandoned'..

We saw 3 on our way back from Myrtle Beach on 7/16. Also saw a Hummer dealer near Hendersonville that had 6 new ones on the lot! We were going to fast to get a picture.

Nothing quite as exiting as trying to come up with bail money for taking A/S Trivia photos, unless, of course they only arrest the survivors.
I'd say, if it was dual axles, Joe (66Overlander) is the winner. (I hope I got that reference correct.)

Got it right! I have learned over time that when I can only see part of an Airstream or see it from a front or rear side angle, they always look shorter than they really are. There is a chance that this one is a 24', but my gut says 26'. I think the jalousie window forward of the door would be larger if it was a 28', so I don't think there is much chance it is a 28'.
And of course, 28' Ambassadors were always tandems. 24' Tradewinds were single axle until 1965, but 26' Overlanders could be had either way thru 1960, becoming exclusively tandem in 1961, so depending upon year the single/tandem determination is not always absolute.

First Big A/S Howdy - Little Trailer Solidarity
On only the third trip, I got a nice surprise. On Monday July 21st, cruising along I-70 near Boonville, Missouri around 10:00 AM, I saw the unmistakable silver shape coming up behind me. A beautiful new rig composed of a bronze Toyota Tunda pickup and a brilliant new Bambi 19 came smoothly alongside. From the passenger window, a lovely blonde woman with stylish oversized shades flashed a big smile and waved like crazy. I didn't see her mate but in silhouette, but I had the sense he was waving too.
Whoever ya'll were, that was my first Airstream howdy - and I thank you from the deepest spot in my heart.
(I'm originally a Missourian, so having it happen on home soil made it even nicer.)

1960 TradeWind For Sale
I have been driving by this trailer on my way to work now for weeks. Today I finally remembered my camera. I called the number on the For Sale sign and was informed it is a 1960 and he is asking $8,500.00 for it. The body looks really straight, but all the windows, except the jalousie window have been replaced by plexiglass.
If anybody is interested it is located just ourside of Reading, PA and the sellers phone number is 570-878-2674 and the serial number is 243T396.
Oh and on the first picture, on the left side, almost out of frame is an Avion pickup truck cab-over camper too!

The serial number indicates that it is actually a 1963 24' Tradewind with twin beds, not a 1960. Otherwise it looks nice - are the compartment doors present (they are missing in the photo's)?

I got to see my own '69 Tradewind over the last week while I was visiting my parents in Alabama. It's there awaiting some frame repairs to fix a bit of rear end sag. Spent four days in dad's 72' Sovereign at the lake in Florida instead. Spotted an old Avion pickup camper parked next to a house on the way there and a nice 34' Limited behind a Ford dually on I-10 East in Pensacola.

Joe,
If you mean the compartment doors to the left of the main door, I don't think so. They too have plexi-glass in them. I couldn't get a good look at the interior as it was raining this morning. I might go for a motorcycle ride this weekend and take a look at the interior and get some more pictures. I am not in the market for a vintage unit, but thought somebody might want to pick it up.

Clipper in Eureka CA
Saw the odd numbers of aluminum panels in my rearview mirror, so I pulled over to get a good look at a beautiful older AS. I wish I pulled out the camera, I think it had 54 Clipper hand painted in redish letters on the curb side. Sure was pretty.
It was headed south on 101, going through downtown Eureka CA.

Hi Hank and Lois,
You're only 14 miles from me. Hope you enjoy your stay. I have the street side tire off the trailer, just degreased the frame rails and will be putting on the Metal Ready so I can start the POR application tomorrow morning.

Then checking out a private campground with full hook-ups not far away we see:
