Spotted at the Flyin J today, Flowood MS @I-20 and Hwy 49. Newer Safari behind a white Ford Box van, Georgia plates ...At first glance I thought it was ArtStream!
All I had time to do was say "Nice Safari" due to the mass of vehicles trying to fuel.

first was as I drove by an RV place in RI, it was the first AS I had seen since committing to buying ours, and we hadn't picked up yet. I was SO excited, I could not wait to go have a closer look! By the time I turned around and dieseled up (couldn't go by the lowest price I'd seen all day!), the owner was trying to hook up to his TV - a Hummer! - and I didn't want to bother him. Then he was gone.

second, after we picked up our AS from Colonial in NJ and drove the approx. 15 or so miles to Turkey Swamp county park for our second night, first on our own (wanted to practice before we forgot how to do stuff!). As we drove into the campground area there was an AS parked! We were all so thrilled and were wondering if it'd be ok for us to go on down and say hi after we got set up.

They beat us to it! Jodi came by and insisted we come have a look at their refurbed vintage. A beauty! Then Jodi and Michael, their sweet doggie, and a bunch of visiting friends and family invited us to stay for desert and a movie! They were all so friendly and encouraging! They were so excited when WE pulled in What a great first night out in the AS world

A neighbor two blocks down the street has one, it has been parked there for about a year now, but I don't know the neighbor. Sounds like a good excuse to get acquainted!

Kentucky Horse Park - Lexington Kentucky

We stayed at the Kentucky Horse Park this weekend..saw four other Airstreams in the course of the three nights we were camped. One older Motorhome on the first night and a couple of newer models the third night. Friends saw a "shiny three axle" pull in on Friday and out this morning. We missed that one.

Triple axel in Kalamazoo, MI

Saw a triple axle with a white double cab tow vehicle headed North on US 131 around the West Main exit this afternoon.

I was jealous.....but hope you had/have a great time!

a newer model rear-door 25ft Safari came on the park today (The Woods RV Park in Montgomery AL) dark blue TV with NC plates on truck and trailer.

i'd go over and say hi, but i think they're either really tired, or looking forward to leaving really early tomorrow, or both.. they didn't even drop their stabilizers!

We just came back from Seattle Washington and in southern Oregon just north of Medford on I-5 I believe, I saw some ones back yard with about 3 or 4 A/S in various stages of assembly. From what looked like shells to full up rigs. Couldn't stop, we were not towing and took my Acura, I only saw so much at 80 MPH!

I've seen these trailers too. I think it is this business that restores and polishes trailers:
Airstream Trailer Refurbishing ReVitalized Trailers, Inc.

Caravel in South Haven, MI

Saw a 70's (?) Caravel on my way home tonight. It was parked at Blue Star Supply on Blue Star Highway in South Haven.

Nice looking trailer.

Saw a newer double axle - looked to be 28-30' International? and a triple axle slightly older AS headed eastbound on I-90 in Madison OH this afternoon - looked like they were traveling together.

We were returning from de-winterizing our AS and getting ready for a summer of streaming!

There must be a rally this weekend.

I saw two Airstreams about five minutes apart today. They were both heading North on Interstate 14 here in Ca.

The first was an early sixties being towed by a Landrover. Just a piece of advice here Pard. If your back bumper is more than a foot lower than your front bumper it's time to consider a WD hitch.

The second on was a seventies model with a blue stripe.

Both trailers were in very nice condition.

camped next to my first sighting!

Hey, I wrote before about seeing a newer AS at ArlingtonRV in RI recently, being hitched up to a Hummer. I was so surprised when we pulled up to our spot at Fisherman's Memorial (also RI) and found out he was our next door neighbor (Hi Tommy!). That was cool. We had a beautiful spot right on the ocean fed lake and absolutely beautiful weather, I did NOT want to come home!

On the way out this morning we spotted another AS that had arrived at the park. Wish we had time to stop and say hi, but they had visitors (no surprise!) and we had an appointment to keep. We did wave enthusiastically though

Saw a smaller Argosy around noon today... pulled by "something red" heading west on I-20 just west of Birmingham, AL.

I waved... got nothing in return.

Saw a tiny vintage AS, looked to be a 16-17 footer on I-20 yesterday. Was being towed by a Ford Excursion. And I thought my truck was overkill... Poor little trailer looked pretty rough. Hopefully it was being transported somewhere for restoration.
