The trailer on the back of the transport looks like a European model with the large triangular reflectors on the rear.

I've never seen an Avion before. Amazing how similar but different from the AirStream line. The Fifth wheel with the customized Peterbilt TV, well...just a conversation starter for sure.

Nice photos. I have a neighbor that is a retired long haul big rig driver. A couple of years ago he bought a purpose built PB for towing his 5er.

Also it does not have side or rear windows other than the door. Possibly a purpose built food cart?

I think the European models are finished in the UK, with the addition of interiors. Perhaps they have different windows too, although it could just be a protective film on the windows. I also noticed that it has backup lights.

Several years ago in the UK, I saw that the interiors that were installed in the UK were so well crafted with "QUALITY" components it made the USA versions look like amateur hour installers had put in the rejects of a bottom tier supplier.

I think the rear added lights were for the actual trailer hauling all three. Otherwise there were no running/working lights going down the road. I did notice no rear window. It was a pretty short unit. Shorter than our old 19' Bambi. I'm not familiar with those shorter ones, not sure if they have a rear window or not.

It's definitely a European unit. In addition to the European triangular reflectors, it has yellow turn signal lamps, which is required in Europe.

Check it out. U.K. Airstreamer, Andrew Ditton, introduces Airstream U.K.'s 2018 International "Missouri". Shows off European design features including the exterior rear lights configuration.

Thanks for the many recent photographs, taken personally by you, of actual Airstream Sightings. It is great to see so many AS and vintage kin, so thanks for taking the time and effort to take the photos and to post them here. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Text reports of actual AS sightings are also interesting for the geographic diversity they show IMO.

Why thank you kindly. We're so privileged to be part of the Airstream heritage. What better way to soak in part of that heritage than to highlight it. I always say, if sighting an Airstream makes your head turn, it's definitely eye candy!

Happy travels!

Saw five Airstreams heading east on I-10 in the sixty miles between Deming and Lordsburg, NM Thursday afternoon, I am guessing they were headed to the Albuquerque balloon festival.
