While waiting for the ferry in Nanaimo to come back to Vancouver, there was a 1982 34 footer. I chatted with the owner and got a tour inside. He's got it set up with solar panels and an RV-500 on demand water heater.

Seen Saturday, October 6th just south of Lynden, WA on the Guide Meridian, east side of the road, about 2/3rd of the way from Bellingham to Lynden.

The window on the curb side in the middle had clear plastic over it so it must have been cracked or missing.

If you drive State Highway 46 between Terra Haute and Bloomington in Indiana there are a couple of Airstreams in a yard just east of Bowling Green, IN.

Saw an Airstream on I-35 being pulled by a maroon pickup going south near the Minnesota/Iowa border yesterday.

In Bisbee, AZ, we saw this AS behind the chain link fence...stopped to take a few pics... When on the way home, going west on I-10 as we were getting close to Tucson, we saw an older AS going east on I-10...not sure of the model.

Also on this trip, we was an Argosy in an RV park in Benson, AZ; an Avion in a park in Tombstone, AZ; and an AS in a yard in Sunsite, AZ (I think that's where it was)...

These are in addition to the vintage trailers we got to see up close at The Shady Dell in Bisbee, AZ, where we stayed the weekend...see our trip thread at http://www.airforums.com/forums/f42/...ain-36172.html beginning with post #7 for this weekend's trip. Also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with a couple from Bellinghan, WA as they checked out The Shady Dell...they were pulling a 2007 25' CCD...making their way back home after a long trip around the country.

It's a blast finding these silver treasures in our travels...

That's quite an antenna on top of the A/C unit on that Airstream stored in the fenced in lot .

We saw what appears to be a mid seventies Airstream of unknown length almost buried by blackberry bushes on the south side of the road that leads from Suman, WA to Lynden, WA. Someone needs to rescue it. Next time we are down that way I'll get pictures if anyone is interested.

Natchez Trace, Ridgeland, Miss.

Coming home from church around 1:00 pm, I saw 2 approx. 30 ft Airstreams leaving the Natchez trace near the Ross Barnett Reservior. Probably WBCCI member since they had red numbers.

I was very envious. A beautiful day to be traveling/camping.

On our way back from the Branson rally, we saw two Argosys and a whole bunch of Airstreams (at least 5 or 6) along Hwy 65 between Branson, MO and Conway, AR. They were all parked and none were traveling, but still neat to see! One was tucked away in a wooded area with stuff growing up all around it, and the rest looked like they had at least the chance of being used.

Oh yeah, we saw 25 Airstreams in Branson!

I spotted a MH towing a dark enclosed trailer on I-20 headed west toward Vicksburg today about 5:30 pm. Sharp rig!

Airstream Spotted in Castleton Canyon

Not far from Moab, Ut is Castleton Valley whose landmark is Castleon Tower. If it looks familar, you've probably seen it in a John Wayne movie.
Maybe this Airstream has some connection with the filming process?

I went down to the Mountain Equipment store down the road from my place in North Vancouver and saw what looks like a 60's Tradewind. Old caravan club numbers were 1245 (if I recall correctly) and you can make out where there was a rectangular decal with "Wally Byam Caravan Club" script. The body looks pretty straight and I can see that the interior has been gutted and has what appears to be a new(ish) wood laminate floor. It is in the yard of a boat building/repair place. I'll have to keep an eye on it for any activity and will try to get some pictures to post.

Saw a big triple-axle headed south on I-530 from Little Rock early this afternoon, being towed by a white Suburban-type SUV or truck with topper.

Went to Ft. Wilderness over the weekend for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and saw three vintage Airstreams on the I-75 and on the FL turnpike. Also, there was an International Bambi in the same loop we were in (loop 300, tow vehicle was a black Land Rover Discovery if you are a member of the airforums!) but never saw the owners. There was a 27' FB Classic in another loop and still another late model wide body (front wrap window) in another loop but I couldn't get a good enough look at it to get any other details. I would have liked to tour all of the loops to see if there were more, but I didn't have a chance to do so.

Caught sight of five Airstreams passing through downtown Fredericksburg, Texas, heading west shortly before noon yesterday (Oct. 25). I caught the number of one--2929.

Saw an older airstream being pulled by white van on the E/W connector near Austell GA earlier this afternoon. If they were going to the falluminum they were heading the wrong direction.

We were in site 108 with our 1986 25' from Saturday through today (10/26). During the week there was an additional 5 Airstreams near the Meadows trading post. Several were WBCCI members.

Sorry we missed you.

We also drove with several triple axles breifly on the way down I-75 from Atlanta. One near Lake City and one on the turnpike.
