Airstream sightings

Saw a very nice Streamer on I-44 in Missouri heading east, mile marker 163. I didn't get a picture, I was on a motorcycle.

My neighbor showed me pictures he took with his phone. They were of a VERY old AS that had a triangle shaped window on the street side located in the rear. The best, it was being towed by a Dusenberg (?) and had Co. plates. he was doing about 70 mph.
The location was on I 80 between Iowa City and Des Moines.

Wow! What a sight that must have been! The Duesenberg is a fantastic car and then paired with an interesting Airstream, going 70mph! Can you get your neighbor's photo to post here?

An Argosy was parked next to barn in a field on 15 near Gettysburg.

At Maryland 97 and Sykesville Road we passed what we thought was a white Class A SOB - turned out to be a square Airstream pulling a toad. Land Yacht maybe? The Airstream name in the teal graphic on the rear side caught my attention.
I thought maybe that was us, but you said you were headed back to MD from PA? We did wave at someone near Lewisburg as we we're returning to Gettysburg from the Airstream Rally in Penn Woods but they were headed in the opposite direction. Sounds like you were headed the same direction as we were. Where were you returning from?

I'm wondering if the trailer he saw with the triangular window was a Spartan Manor.

I finally got a photo of this one on US-191, near Colter Bay along the shore of Lake Jackson. A red Escalade towing a 23' or maybe a 25'. They were going north toward Yellowstone NP. We were going south (not towing) toward Jackson Hole and Grand Teton NP.

Great framing of the picture.

We were returning from Bald Eagle State Park and heading south on 15. We're hard to miss with two long kayaks on top of the truck. We were probably not far apart. I'm sure we'll see each other eventually since we're up that way quite frequently!

I thought he might have meant the triangular or alien eye windows on the ends of some 30's Airstream trailers like the Cutter or Clipper.

Maybe a flyin cloud west bound I-40 in Arkansas. Just west of Forest City.
TV appeared to be a dark colored Chevy.

Saw two unusual Airstreams today. The first was a squarestream for sale along the south shore of Lake Ontario west of Wilson, NY.
The second was a "woody" Airstream (or Argosy) with wood panelling on the lower half and painted green above. This one was in Cambria, NY. It seems like I've seen a photo of it somewhere before, but I can't find it now so maybe I'm thinking of the trailer in this thread which is similar,
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f48/...away-6223.html
but definitely not the same trailer as the one I saw today had two axles. Unfortunately it was a long way back from the road and I only had my phone for a camera, so the photo is not great.
