Lots of Aluminum in Hilton Head, SC

Arrived at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina yesterday. Upon walking around we found lots of aluminum in the park. We feel right at home! Check out the Spartan being pulled with a 1936 Cadillac! Its the talk of the park. We passed only 3 units on our way here from Gettysburg, all were headed north.

One was here at Elkhorn RV park in Elkhorn Kentucky. It was a 65. They were heading home to Texas. Nice couple.

On Interstate 81, saw a Airstream Classic motorhome 345 heading south-bound, just north of Harrisonburg. Say hello! Too much traffic for me to drive and snap photo, but you sure know Classic motorhome profile!

Been on the road two weeks. Have not seen much other than the people staying at the Airstream Factory in Jackson Center

Finally, saw two today.
First, a early 2000's 34' with a slide, at Kreher RV Park in Ashland WI, where we both stayed overnight.
Second, a old style motor home headed east on US-2 not far from Duluth MN.

Southbound on I 77 north of Charleston, WV, saw a northbound 28 or 30. 5508 WBCCI, if I recall.

Back from Canada. Saw no ASs until we were almost out of Canada. As we were headed to Kamloops from Jasper, we saw an older 30ish AS parked behind a house.

After leaving Hope, BC we saw a 30ish AS just leaving an RV park on an access road. About 15 minutes later we were passed by that AS with lights flashing. Cool!

While in a KOA outside Port Angeles WA, a week ago Sunday, we saw a nice small vintage AS camping with us.

From then on, as we headed South down the West Coast, we saw more ASs than we have ever seen on the road. A very nice polished vintage coach, a couple of newish 23s, several 25s and a Trade Winds are a few examples. We camped with a 2016 on Friday in Cannon Beach. We saw three today from the California Northern border until we got off HWY 101 at HW128.

Congrats all for you out there doing it. Nice to see you. Lights flashing = smiles!

Travel safe. Pat

Hope you enjoyed your trip to Canada, Pat. Remember that we have 1/10th the population of you guys, so Airstream sightings on the road might be few and far between.

Sometimes Airstreams slow just enough to get a picture. We were Southbound on Hwy 101.

Travel safe. Pat

I didn't get a pic, but I saw a very nice 25 or 28' AS being pulled through St Louis area a few days ago. Tow vehicle was a nice Toyota Tundra, with two bikes sitting on the bed cover. I believe the plates were from Washington State. I wanted to let them know they had a front headlight out..
Nice set up!

I saw a rig similar to the one you describe at the Canopener rally at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, FL in January 2014.

Additionally, 5 out of 50 spots in our campground are Airstreams! We've had so many through this campground. All around 25-27 footers tonight.

I've lost count how many Airstreams I've seen in the last two days in and around Yellowstone. At least 25-30!
I finally got a photo of this one on US-191, near Colter Bay along the shore of Lake Jackson. A red Escalade towing a 23' or maybe a 25'. They were going north toward Yellowstone NP. We were going south (not towing) toward Jackson Hole and Grand Teton NP.
