We were headed west across Missouri yesterday with our GT. I saw at least two other ASs heading east on I-70. I have to admit, I was enjoying a strong east wind (tailwind). Much better mpg than I’m used to with the Tundra. 
I flashed lights at one. Didn’t see the other until you were almost opposite me. Travel safe.

Rt 95 SB Kennebunk, Maine
Thursday 1 July 2021 @1200 noon
SB Rt 95 between the York Tolls and the Kennebunk Service Plaza we spotted 3 AS Trailers. 2 were SB rolling and one was pulled into the Kennebunk Service plaza...probably having lunch.
We were NB heading to family camp for the holiday weekend. We waved!

Squarestream spotted at a gas stop in Texas.

Saw a non-vintage 20 footer with WBCCI #5544 going north on US Hwy169 in Minnesota between Jordan and Bloomington, towed by a Toureg. Might be a recent purchase
Your tail lights need to be checked. Passenger side brake light is lit all the time. Driver side lights work OK.

On our trip to Twin Lakes this last week, we spotted 10 AS. (All lengths are estimates). On Saturday (July 10), 20-footer west bound on Rt24. 28-footer in Lake George. 30-footer going into Buena Vista, a vintage AS in a rafting village north of Buena Vista, and a Sport will fishing on 82 near the continental divide. While headed home, we saw two 25 footers on 24 near Wilkerson Pass, a 30-foot Excella in a back yard in Florissant and an unidentified AS that flashed by east bound near Woodland Park. Lots of AS in Colorado!

Spotted a Black Full-size PU with Kayaks on the roof pulling a mid-size vintage trailer into the Hampton Side Tolls from Rt 101 EB. Getting on to Rt 95 headed for an adventure NB or SB.

Spotted Big Red Numbers 2878 being pulled by a Dark Ford heading east on Rt 101 between exit 8 & 9.
We were pulling Dorothy WB on Rt 101 heading to Quechee, VT for the weekend. We flashed the headlights and waved!

Spotted a Green SUV pulling a Nest near mile marker 13.2. Just a short distance later around mm 11.4 we spotted a Maroon PU pulling a Bambi NB.
We were headed SB to a charity football game in the Manchester, NH area.
Great to see many Air Streamers out on the road! Safe travels & Great Adventures!

Spotted a Basecamp along highway BA in Missouri. It runs in front of Babler State Park. I imagine that’s where you were coming from. I live next to it. I don’t see that many Basecamps on the road. They look cool to me. Pulled by an F150, I believe. I was in a FJ Cruiser without an AS, so I didn’t honk or wave.
Nice looking trailer. Hope you enjoyed Babler Park.

I've passed at least a dozen Airstreams along the highway from North Dakota to Montana. No one responds to flashing lights anymore. Disappointing.

Spotted a few over the past couple days in the Northeastern Massachusetts corridor between New Hampshire and Boston.

Drove from WashMo to JC today. Saw 2 on a trailer being delivered so didn't count, but zip otherwise, of course until arrival at JC. They're multiplying!

I HEAR you, and agree! Seems like not as many wave or flash. On the other hand, on the I-90/94 corridors coming west from North/South Dakota, I think some of those may be transports - lots of new ones headed to dealers in the west.
But... I agree, always disappointing to spot someone coming at you that ignores a friendly wave or flash of the lights. It's an Airstream tradition!

Today just after noon I saw four Airstreams on I-5 at once. Two were fairly new, large, double-axle, wide-body Airstreams with California plates heading southbound. At that moment, there were two smaller trailers on the other side of the freeway heading north, one a classic Bambi or Globe Trotter and the other a newer Bambi. They all converged so quickly that I couldn't get out my cell phone to snap any pictures.
Later, I saw two on Peoria Road north of Harrisburg in driveways. To top it off, I just got a call from a nice couple who owns one of those two trailers. They're in the WBCCI local club, and they returned my call from a few days earlier, since I'd gotten an introduction from the Oregon Airstream Club president to them a few weeks ago.

Sounds like the jeep world. When I got mine 3 years ago everyone gave you the hand wave going by. Now hardly anyone does.
On a more upbeat note, I went to get something out of my GT in storage last night and the people in the next spot were in theirs doing some chores. I walked by just to say hi and the wife was all excited that the owner of the AS next to them was there. Very nice. They have an international with the rear hatch and the guy was showing me all the mods he was doing. Found some electrical things out I did not know about.
