I saw an Airstream Interstate parked near the square in downtown Bentonville, AR one day last week. It was silver and had Oklahoma plates on it.

A white Subaru Outback with a kayak on the roof and towing a Single axle 19 footer.
Saw you on the Rama road in Ramara, Ontario today at 11:30am. The Rama casino is closed and it’s a long way to Ottawa so I can only guess that you may have been looking for cheap smokes down the road a couple of clicks...
Lol
Safe travels.

Friday 18 June 2021 @2 pm
NB Rt 95 Greenland, New Hampshire north of the Hampton Tolls

Spotted this beautiful Flying Cloud AS Trailer pulled by a Dark Tahoe.

We were also NB pulling Dorothy to Scarborough, Maine. We shared a wave and a smile at the split...they went left on route 16 to northern New Hampshire and we headed over the Piscataqua River Bridge to Maine.

Safe travels!

Rt 95 NB Kennebunk, Maine

Sunday 20 June 2021 @1250 pm
NB Rt 95 Just north of the Kennebunk Maine Service Plaza. @28mile marker

Spotted a @30' AS Trailer pulled by a White TV. About a minute later spotted a second AS trailer also NB 95. This beauty was vintage sporting a mirror shine...she gleamed in the sunlight! I was so distracted I didn't take notice of the TV.

We flashed the headlights and waved! We were SB pulling Dorothy home from a weekend outing in Scarborough, Maine.

Safe travels!

June 22, 2021 you were just leaving Oak Creek Colorado, on 131 headed towards Steamboat Springs.
It was a very small single axle, with a tiny back window. May even have been a whale tail.
It was a joy to see!

Ha!
Have you noticed that every WalMart semi-trailer has Oklahoma plates? I thought this was a funny co-incidence.....or is it?

It costs $46 to register a commercial trailer the first year in Oklahoma, and $6 for each subsequent year.

My point was WalMart makes a big deal of being based in Bentonville, AR., and yet they shop for value also!

Recent trip had several.

June 10th: at Shenandoah, the camper checking in ahead of me was not an Airstream, but an old Streamline, pulled by the same truck that I have: we had actually both reserved sites side-by-side, but the campground host told each of us that we'd picked the 'wrong sites' for our campers, and had us select another site instead. (He asked me if we were traveling together since we had similar campers and were supposed to be in adjacent sites, but no, just happenstance.)

Poconos, Mystic, no Airstreams on those nights.

On June 13th, at Sunset campground in Lubec Maine, there were three other Airstreams in addition to ours. One was a 16' Bambi, one was a 25' or 26', and then a 27' or 28'.

Hadley's in MDI: didn't see any others.

Wolfe's Neck, Maine (near Freeport) June 18th-19th: again, there were three Airstreams other than ours: one was also a 20', one was a 27' with a rear hatch, and the other was a 27'.

Passed several on the road: on two-lane roads, or undivided four-lanes, we'd sometimes get to blink lights at each other, but not on divided four-lanes. Sunday the 20th, as we were southbound on I-81 in Virginia, there were several northbound ones (all dual-axles).

Thanks, Leslie, for the actual "Airstream sightings" which you saw in person . . . with your own eyes . . .

Your post from Lubec, in northern Maine, shows those Airstreams, in a great photo. [hot link in blue]

Rt 95 NB York, Maine

Interesting ride to Maine today along Route 95 from New Hampshire. Spotted 4 different AirStreamer's on the road to adventure.

Friday 25 June 2021

Rt 95 SB Greenland, New Hampshire @1245
Spotted a newer Black GM Pickup towing a full-size AS Trailer SB. There was a bicycle rack on the rear of the trailer.

Rt 95 NB York Maine @1 pm
Just north of the "new Fast Lane" York Tolls. Spotted this Airstream Basecamp Trailer pulled by a Dark Subaru??? Kayak mounted on the roof of the TV.

I gave a wave and thumbs up, but I don't think the Driver saw me. A little while later I was SB on Rt 95 heading back to New Hampshire and saw a couple more heading north. Welcome to "Vacationland"! As the sign used to say when crossing the State Line into Maine, "If you lived here...you'd be home now".

Rt 95 NB York, Maine(Mile 12) @215pm
Spotted a Red full-size PU towing a full-size AS trailer. About a minute or so later a White TV with a mid-size AS trailer also NB.

Safe travels and great adventures!

Airstream spotted near Dallas just off I35 going north to Oklahoma. Looks like a Flying Cloud 25FB.

Spotted a Classic 30 being towed by a white TV headed west on Texas 154 between Gilmer and Quitman in East Texas about 6:30 pm tonight. Gave chase but they were really flying. Gave up the pursuit after about 8 miles when we got to the turn for home at FM 14. So yes, you CAN tow an AS down a two lane highway at 70 mph.

Some of those narrow west Texas two lane highways have posted speed limits of 80 and the big oil trucks are doing at least that speed as they pass and the bow wave coming towards you is impressive…..

On our trip this last week, spotted three AS in our campground at Eleven Mile State park. Below is a picture of the Bambi parked in the lower campground near the lake.

Hwy 99E in Harrisburg, Oregon

It was too quick to get my phone out and snap a picture, but only a block from my house I saw a 34' triple-axle Excella 1000 or Excella was being towed northbound toward the Harrisburg bridge. It was beautiful... all those smoked out windows.
