Question

Were Airstream trailers attached to these tow vehicles? Size, model, color [Argosy], date, time of day, and so forth, might help the owners better identify these "Airstream sightings" IMO.

Rt 101 WB Auburn, New Hampshire

Tuesday 1 June 2021 @1pm
WB Rt 101 @Exit 2 Auburn, New Hampshire

At the fuel station just off Exit 2 on the WB side of Rt 101. Mid size AS Trailer...too quick of a pass to get a visual on the TV, but the unmistakable profile of the trailer jumped out.

We were EB towing back to Hampton, New Hampshire.

I'm gonna designate the Exit 2 area of Rt 101 a AS Hotspot...with just this weekends trip we've spotted 3 AS Trailers in this one area. A double on the way out and a single on the return. Lol...

After the washout holiday weekend we've got 77F today with sunshine and blue skies. Go figure...

Safe travels to all those on the road!

Just spotted a mid-size AS heading eastbound on I-40 near Crossville, TN. Saw another earlier this morning heading NE near the I-81/I-40 junction. Did not see a single AS as we drove south on I-81 yesterday!

We were traveling from Kingman to Flagstaff and caravaned with an almost identical GT pulled by a black F-250.

An interesting black shroud over the fantastic fan gave us ideas for running the fan while driving to keep down the heat.

Rt 101 EB Auburn, New Hampshire

Tuesday 8 June 2021 @1215 pm
EB Rt 101 just east of Exit 2 Auburn, New Hampshire

Spotted a 30' AS Trailer pulled by a dark full-size pickup. They were Rt 101 EB pulling up the hill in the left lane just east of Exit 2.

I flashed the high beams and gave a big wave. We were WB working on the "honey do" list...lol

It is pretty freaky...seems like every time we go through the area an Aluminum Beauty is also traveling through. We don't travel the area very often and to make a sighting each time, well it's like winning the lottery. The payoff is a smile and a memory.

Safe travels!

No internet this last weekend at Hecla Junction, so I am catching up.
This trip was filled with Airstream sightings. We left on Thursday (June 3) and found out one of our neighbors had just purchased a 30-foot Safari. Driving west from Colorado Springs, we ended up in a mini caravan including a 30 Flying Cloud and a 22 foot (Sport ??). While in our caravan, we passed three AS in Harstel Colorado on Rt 24. It looked the local club was gathering another caravan. We left our small caravan west of the junction of 24 and 285. Coming down 24/285 into Buena Vista, we spotted two more AS on the overlook for the Collegiate Peaks. On the drive down to Hecla, we saw an older AS (maybe 20 feet) in a farmyard. When we arrived at Hecla, there was a Basecamp parked next to us. An hour later, a 1963 Overlander (25 foot? under renovation) pulled in. So, in the span of four hours, we spotted eleven AS. Quite a day! The next day, three more AS arrived. A 25-foot Safari, a 25-foot Flying Cloud and a 30-foot International bringing the count up to 14. On Monday when we left, we only saw one AS west bound near Hartsel. Here are some of the pictures we took (in semi-order of sighting). The last picture show three AS lined up in the shot with mine in the middle.

Airstream sightings

Just discovered an Airstream village at Moab Valley RV Resort, in Utah. Eight Flying Clouds of varying lengths. All very recent editions (methinks 2021). All are for stationary rent. Three days minimum.
Quite an investment!

I was wondering if the Airstream wasn't cruising at 40 in the passing lane? That's a lot of cars behind him.

Rt 101 WB Candia, New Hampshire

Thursday 10 June 2021 @115 pm
WB Rt 101 Between Exit 3 & Exit 4 Candia, New Hampshire

Spotted a @30' AS Trailer pulled by a dark colored full-size Ram pickup.

I was EB heading home from a trip out for errands.

Again, I don't travel this road everyday, but AirStream's seem to keep appearing when I'm passing through. Lol

Safe travels!
